NY Times has it as 95% likely the Dems take the House. Repubs will keep the Senate and pick up a couple of votes, although this was a bad third of the Senate for the Dems to fain in.

This vote makes you think they are not? This is nowhere near a resounding win, in a setup where the House was pretty much a guaranteed loss. Like I said, if it is less than 35 pickups, I think the Republicans see this as a positive since the media was pushing it to be so much worse.

That's the stunner that changed the map. There were House pickups in Texas. They also rebuilt some of the Blue Wall as well. It's an unexpected performance for a party so corrupt and lacking in ethos and decency.
I'm no "Trump-lover", and never have been. My preference was for Rick Perry to be president, but that's water long-gone under the bridge. Nevertheless, today, businesses are thriving and hiring more and more people all the time. The unemployment rate has plummeted down to the lowest levels since 1969! Trump never went to "charm school" -- sure! But at least he's not some kind of half-witted wanna-be Socialist! And, unlike the great Democrat "Messiah" we finally got rid of in January of last year, Trump never lied through his teeth telling us that if we did what he told us to do that we'd save $2,500 on healthcare insurance every year!
