Looking for honest answers from Trump supporters is like looking for honest answers from Dirty Donnie himself. He lies, so they lie. DD has brought lying and dishonesty out into the open. Now, it is not only ok to lie, it’s ok to justify lying for purely partisan gain. In addition, it has never been easier to dismiss a fact: just call it “fake news” or create an “alternative fact”. 1. One would have to accept the premise to your question first, which I do not. I think Trump was campaigning and too busy to worry about the status of a Trump Tower in Moscow. I don't think it was unethical for his business to continue to explore the deal that had been in the works for many years previous.

2) The FBI began investigating Trump in March of 2015 before they had any contacts with any Russians. They sent several informants to meet with Trump volunteers and surrogates as a prelude to launching an investigation into the Trump campaign. Joseph Mifsud, Stephan Halper and others where placed in the campaign to deliver misinformation, set up or entrap them. This is something that should bother the liberals. Would you not be upset if Trump, now in control of the DOJ and FBI did the same to his Democrat opponents?

3. The payoff scandal was not a campaign violation as it did not involve the campaign in anyway and did not involve campaign money. It also is payoffs to people alleging affairs, not an admission of guilt. Even if he did have affairs, that too is not illegal and neither is negotiating confidentiality agreements.

No, that's pretty much when the FBI decided it was going to spy on Trump after he announced his foreign policy team so they began the scheming to infiltrate the Trump campaign with informants without any cause or hint of wrongdoing.

If your reaction to the latter would be different than your reaction was to the former, I'd ask you why. Why the difference?

 

1. Since the special counsel Mueller was appointed Trump has always maintained he was in negotiations for the business deal of a potential Tower in Moscow during the campaign. Nobody down to a very few expected him to win, and afaik a candidate doesn't have to give up their businesses while running. Mueller found no Russian collusion here, there is no indictment.

2. The FBI used the Phony Piss Dossier without substantiation to obtain a FISA warrant under false pretenses to a FISA court to get this entire FBI coup attempt rolling.

3. It is not against the law to pay off women for silence. The congress has a special program just for them which forces taxpayers to pay off women for silence.

You folks would have gone batshyte crazy if you learned Hillary was covertly in negotiations with Putin on a real estate deal during a campaign for prez that she was receiving help from him on.

Carter Page was being under surveillance by the FBI before he joined the campaign having nothing to do with Trump.
