Whatever your opinion or lack thereof, mine is that she's right up there with Mick. In fact, I don't think there is any woman in music even close to Madonna in terms of her swagger and artistry at living her life and pouring out lots of great songs along the way. But then again, I'm a bit of a pop rock or even just plain pop junkie. I love a good one hit wonder pop tune, for example. Madonna's pop hit Holiday, great tune, amazed to find out it was a white girl back in 1984. Music, released about 16 years later, great tune. That's a phenomenal run in the music business.
