Scientists say earth had a narrow escape from a major solar flare that only caused minor disruptions to cellphone, GPS’s and internet connections. Hurtling to earth at 2 000 kilometres a second, the solar flare sparked concern. Did the media cover this at all? I'm hearing about it after the fact.
