Because it's based upon an MSNBC article by Michael Isikoff. Isikoff claims this is what she said but it was not a direct quote. Why is this so hard for you to understand? I've never said that it was a direct quote from her.

If it had been a direct quote then you'd still have to take Isikoff's word for it, wouldn't you? Refer to my earlier comments before you respond with your ignorance.

lol, MY ignorance? you birthers are the ones who are trying to pass off a quote that fukino never said, as fact, yet you dismiss totally her ACTUAL quotes, certifying the authenticity of the BC.

it still sucks to be a birther

My God it's amazing how truly devoid of any logic you and other liberals like you are. For the billionth time, I NEVER SAID IT WAS A QUOTE! No one has! Isikoff claimed that she said this. Didn't he?! All I have ever said is that Isikoff has claimed that this is what she said and that this characterization of Obama's LFBC is not consistent with the LFBC he has released. If it had been a direct quote then you would still have to believe that Isikoff is telling you the truth, wouldn't you? There's not that much of a difference between Isikoff saying that she said it was "half typed and half handwritten" (this is a quote of the article, not a direct quote of her, for the billionth and one time) and a direct quote because you'd still have to believe that Isikoff is not making it up.

How could you possibly know if Fukino never said this? Isikoff says that she did.

Also, since I know you have absolutely zero ability to follow logic... I never said that this was a fact. I simply said that Isikoff reported this. I tend to believe that Isikoff did not make this up so yes I also tend to believe that it's true but obviously I cannot say for sure if she said this nor could I say for sure she said this even if he had quoted her directly.

If you still can't understand this, I am finished wasting my time trying to help such a pathetically illogical person like you understand logic.

So you're equating Isikoff's claim of what Fukino said with those who claim that Elvis is still alive? If Isikoff had quoted her directly you would still have to take his word for it, right? How is it that you can dismiss his claim of what she said but if he quoted her directly you would suddenly believe that he's telling the truth? Do you think it's more likely that Isikoff lied or is it more likely that she said what he claimed she said?

So the person who said it means nothing to you? There's no difference to you in the credibility of NBC News and a person who claims that Elvis is alive?

If Tom Brokaw said that Obama told him that he was abused as a child and then Brokaw reported it but did not quote him directly and Obama never complained to NBC News about the report, you wouldn't even consider that Obama might have said it? You would dismiss it entirely?

Mr. Hall Monitor, I couldn't care less about this forum.

So a direct quote would be more evidence? Back to your analogy, if a woman claimed to have quoted Elvis as saying, "I'm still alive", would that be more believable than if she just simply said, "He told me he's still alive"?

I'm not interested in leaving yet. I enjoy making you look like a fool.

I reject your premise. The entire govt in Hawaii does not have to be in on any conspiracy. It only takes a few. Former Gov Lingle never claimed to have seen the BC and she does not have to be in on it. State reps in Hawaii probably have nothing to do with it. But yes, I think it's more likely that many in Hawaii and in the US Govt are conspiring to prevent the public from discovering that Obama was not born in Hawaii and does not have a valid BC.

Wong explained it quite clearly to you- that you chose to believe in a Conspiracy is your choice.
    Here is what he posted:
Second, the entire "long form" held by State Health Departments is actually more than just the part released when people request and receive their "long form" birth certificates. Go here to see what the actual components of a complete long form birth certificate looks like. The sections after block 13 ("Information for Administrative Use" and "Information for Medical and Health Purposes Only") are not released, though they would have been what Fukino saw. So what was released is only part of what she saw.

Wong even gave you the link the CDC explaining it.

Cover for Dr. Fukino? She is a respected Republican doctor, with no blemish on her reputation- other than of course Birther lies and speculation. There frankly is no reason to believe your baseless speculation.

The reason to believe that the birth certificate includes additional information is right on the CDC site.

But lets list the possibilities shall we?

    a) That everything that Dr. Fukino said, and was reported to have said is correct, and that there is additional statistical information on the BC as per the CDC recommendations, and that as Dr. Fukino said, Barack Obama was born in Hawaii.

    b) That Dr. Fukino was misquoted when Isikoff paraphrased what she said, which would still leave all of her official statements saying that Barack Obama was born in Hawaii.

    c) That Dr. Fukino mispoke when she was speaking with Isikoff, and she just said that part wrong. Of course everything else she said still matches the BC that was released, and of course still matches her and Fuddy's official statements that Barack Obama was born in Hawaii.

    d) That Dr. Fukino- a Republican in a Republican administration, put her professional career, and freedom at risk by committing fraud, in a Conspiracy that included Alvin Onaka- who also put his professional career and freedom at risk, and the new Director of Health, Fuddy, also put his career and freedom at risk, and Governor Abercrombie, who apparently was brought into the Conspiracy even before he won the Governor's office- all for some unknown motivation.

Occam's razor would say that A is the clear answer.

Birthers of course go straight for the least likely, most improbably- and completely unproven theory.

Since I have already addressed that above, I will just mention that Dr. Fukino said both officially, and unofficially that Barack Obama was born in Hawaii. And that Fuddy has also stated that, and of course Alvin Onaka has certified the very copy that says Barack Obama was born in Hawaii.

Those are all very consistant with the LFBC released by the White House and the COLB published by the Obama campaign, and with the Birth Index Data on file, and the newspaper birth announcements, isn't it?

Yet you keep posting here...and keep insulting everyone who disagrees with you.

    Typical Birther behaviour.

Since this is properly in the Conspiracy section, and since there is no real dialogue going on- you just stick to Birther talking points and speculation- I will let you declare a victory, and continue to spout any lies or 'speculation' you would like to in this thread. I am done with this one.

Still sucks to be a Birther of course.

Wong gave his opinion of what he thinks might happen at the dept of Health. It's pure speculation, just like you did earlier. If the link explains it then why don't you quote from the link and not from Wong? You failed to answer my questions. Try again:

Have you ever seen a birth certificate with all of that statistical information you're speaking of? Do you have any idea if that statistical information was even required in 1961? Does this mean that Obama did not release his full long form birth certificate?

Yes, we know that they're all saying he was born there. Unfortunately, you failed to answer my question. Here it is again: Fukino is reported to have said that Obama's LFBC was half typed and half handwritten. That statement is inconsistent with the LFBC released by the White House, isn't it?

lol, you say that I stick to speculation and yet what have the been doing in the last few posts?! You even admitted that what you said earlier was "pure speculation". You're done because you cannot back up a (*)(*)(*)(*)ed thing. Your basic argument is just like every Obot: officials say he was born there, therefore he was born there. You're pathetic.

since you have no evidence that fukino said that, it's not inconsistent with her OFFICIAL statement that the long form is in fact authentic is it?

Wow, talk about being devoid of reality. Hmmm, I don't see your answer anywhere. If you answered it then how about you copy and paste your answer here cause I don't see anything. After you've done that, I'll answer your question. Since I asked my question first, you should answer mine first. See how that works?

Why is this in conspiracy theories?
So long as obama usurps the office of president this is a current event.

Are you trying to demean the integrity of this site?

lol, you call birthers idiots and yet I'm a birther and I just kicked your tail in this debate! You're still refusing to answer my question because you know your way of reasoning makes no sense! Game. Set. Match.

I'll do this one last time...

You've been playing this little game of ignoring what's actually happened and acting like you've answered my question when you know you never did.

You did not answer it. You know you didn't. If you think you did, then just copy and paste your answer. But we both know you never answered it and that you keep refusing to answer it and we both know why. We know that you cannot answer it without making your entire way of reasoning look completely illogical. I'll give you one last chance. Here's my original question, asked long before you asked your question:

So a direct quote would be more evidence? Back to your analogy, if a woman claimed to have quoted Elvis as saying, "I'm still alive", would that be more believable than if she just simply said, "He told me he's still alive"?

PS: I know you're logged in. I won't be waiting another two days just for you to come back with a non-answer.
