Marmolada glacier collapse in Italy kills seven

    This happened a bit of time ago, but I've been pondering the possibility to start a thread about this.

    Overall because I've been on that glaciers years ago.

    I'm not a GWM [Global Warming Maniac], anyway it's difficult not to note that glaciers are withdrawing. Last weekend I climbed Rose Mountain and at the altitude of "Capanna Margherita" [at more than 4,000 mt on the sea level] the temperature was above zero Celsius degrees. What? Are you serious?

    In summer, in Italy we ski on the glaciers of Stelvio. Today they have closed the ski slopes because the snow is too soft and warm [so it's dangerous to ski there].

    Frankly speaking, I want my glaciers back.
