Supreme Court will NOT take the case. they have rejected 4 AWB cases within the last 5 years and rejected a May-Issue case a few weeks ago. they currently believe that the States have some authority and discretion to limit which guns may be possessed by the public.
Except that I understand those weapons and what they do first hand and you're just posting data which as anyone who really knows firearms knows is only that, data on a page. Go play with pronghorns. Your ignorance has become both obvious and tedious.
I've actually been hoping a case like this would find it's way to SCOTUS, with it's current makeup our side is likely to win and put this issue to bed for good. However, did anyone point out to the judge that not a single military on the face of the earth uses these types of firearms?
I want to see the dicta on this claim: "The undisputed facts in this record convincingly demonstrate that the AR-15 and LCMs banned by the Act are 'weapons most useful in military service".
Or maybe they were waiting for a change in the roster to improve the chances of extending Heller to longguns. Things that make you go hmmmm....
Much ado about nothing. The Trump Supreme Court will overrule the Fascist Massachusetts court. Big deal.
Actually, it's a very big deal. If SCOTUS overturns the ruling, based on stare decisis, which they at least should, would instantly delete every AWB ban law in the country, and make future ones illegal.
they were embolden by Judge King's Idiocy out of the fourth circuit. Judge King-whose son used to work with me-ignored three supreme court cases. Some say he was hoping it would cause a USSC appeal since some saw Kennedy as being weak on gun rights. With Stevens and Kennedy gone, who knows what will happen
nope. the Trump Supreme Court couldn't even get 4 votes to take a May-Issue case. they only have 3 pro-gun Judges
I knew a thin guy who fought in Korea. The radioman took one through the Adam's apple. The captain handed him an M1-carbine and the radio. He stayed thin the rest of his life. Best millwright who ever walked the planet.
Big government democrat huh? Massachusetts, like Conn., will do what it wants. If you don't like it, sue them, or don't come here. BTW, I'm on record in Sen, Markey's office as a supporter of less strict gun laws than we here in Massachusetts. But unlike other gun owners and CC Licensees, I believe in, and respect, diversity of thought and opinion. The 2nd Amendment was compromised by advancing technology decades ago. I would like to save our right to own firearms, and because of that, I realize a compromise will need to be meet at some point in the near future. That's where the NRA has failed. They could have negotiated this disagreement years ago, but have taken a hard line which has done more damage than the mass shootings themselves.
