It has gone way too far now. There don't have to be background checks...and angry person can find a gun within easy distance and start murdering anyone in the way.
Once again, the country makes excuses to cover the glaring contradiction between calling abortion "murder" and facilitating access to the tools of murder.
When they stop making excuses for open potential for the terror in the normal lives of innocent people, there may be a chance that thousands of children as well as the common population may be more secure.

Oh dear. Come on. That old sour raspberry about taking advantage of victims is long busted as from the NRA playbook (and I can prove it if you like, so don't ask.) If the emotion game is to be played, sure, I'll play it and respond with "If you reckon me commenting on the slaughter of people ....after the usual 'thoughts and prayers'....is disrespectfully dancing on their graves, okay by me." It ain't gonna shut me up.

So, what else you got 'cause that rooster don't crow any more.

    Exactly...
    But, nothing ever changes...
Assault Weapons MUST (once again) Be Banned!
(Just like they were banned from 1994-2004):
The 10-year ban was passed by the U.S. Congress on August 25, 1994 and was signed into law by President Bill Clinton on September 13, 1994. The ban applied only to weapons manufactured after the date of the ban's enactment. It expired on September 13, 2004.
It NEVER should have been allowed to.expire in the first place...

The pro-mass shooting party scores another victory.

And before the mods think of deleting this post, it is no different than saying that one of the parties is in favor of “open borders”, which is said on this board almost every day. If you leave those posts intact, you have to leave this post intact.

    The Store Manager Killing Employees...Wow...

At least seven people are dead after a gunman opened fire at a Walmart supermarket in Chesapeake, in the US state of Virginia, officials say.
A man, believed to be the store manager, opened fire then turned the gun on himself, and is now dead.
The City of Chesapeake earlier tweeted to confirm an "active shooter incident with fatalities".
Multiple others were injured in the shooting. The attacker's motive remains unclear.
Po!ice told reporters that the attack happened at 22:12 local time (03:12 GMT).
Footage appeared online which appeared to show an eyewitness - wearing Walmart uniform - describing what happened.
He said he had left a staff room, which a manager then entered and opened fire.
"Sadly we lost a few of our associates," the man said, clarifying that he did not know how many of his colleagues were shot.

Yep. And only one party wants to try to do anything about mass killings. The other party is happy to sit back and do nothing other than offering after-the-fact “thoughts and prayers”.

    Total BS...
Which uses a Completely FLAWED Definition of what constitutes a "Mass Shooting"...:bored:
Q: How MANY People in that incredibly misguided graphic:
Committed Random Killings of Multiple Victims (who were unknown to the Shooter and not Domestic or Gang-Related)?

^The answer to that Question is WHY that graphic is Total BS...:bored:

    Guns.

    Again.

Once again, our existing laws and their levels of enforcement were unable to keep this latest multiple death tragedy from happening.

Based upon data for 2020*, a death by gunshot occurs roughly once every 12 minutes every day. 5 every hour. The deaths in this particular incident were but a part of the total number that probably occurred on the same day in the United States of America.

    Guns.

    Again.

    Regards. Stay safe 'n well 'n un-shot.

The constitution is not antiquated it is superior to the governing document of your nation.

Health care has nothing to do with this.

The NRA protects human rights and the fossil fuel industroy is losing

He doesn't have to be a member of the NRA.
It is the NRA who facilitates this and every other mass shootings, deaths of children, old people, which assures you every time that it happens that it is just another unimportant killing and when they can't get away with that, they go silent until the dust clears.
The idea that this only happens in third world poor lawless countries is based in the idea that the USA is better than that because it is richer.
Well have I got news for you. The USA is EXACTLY like those countries.

I wonder how many of those who are now dead opposed gun control and signed their own death warrants? How many of their families thought it only happens in the press or on TV or somewhere else.

If your wife or child went shopping and left covered in blood with a hole through their heads, would you then sigh and say that is the chance we take for the right to carry a gun??

This is the utter garbage the NRA spews.

Dont your loved ones have a basic right to stay alive and without fear?
NO ONE HAS A BASIC RIGHT TO KILL SOMEONE ELSE. That why those who do, are called criminals.

Most own backyards don't have your problem. They feel safe when they leave their own homes.
If someone is depressed or unhappy, he should go home and commit suicide privately.
Give him a gun and he takes innocent people with him.
    WTF??

That would only make logical sense but when you have some agenda to promote you have to go against things like logic.
