Here is a mechanism for massive Earth Crust displacement. "They" don't know it, yet.
Y'know, when the Earth's crust becomes like the skin of an orange, freed from the fruit and slides around to new positions.
Not by the inches they want us to believe but, by distances unimagined.

It slides on super heated mantle water, probably

The results suggest there could be a vast store of water in the mantle transition zone, which stretches from 254 to 410 miles (410 to 660 km) deep.

"It translates into a very, very large mass of water, approaching the sort of mass of water that's present in all the world's ocean,". . . "

Support Massive Earth Crust Displacement Theory.
It doesn't mean the slow stuff can't happen too.

I don't find it believable. Shear waves cannot be supported in liquids, and shear waves travel through the mantle with no problem. There are some interesting interactions with the crust up to 25 km or so, and mostly because of shear wave interaction. The article talks about much lower depths, but a liquid layer would introduce a wave discontinuity which I don't think has been observed at that depth. In contrast, the Earth's outer core is liquid, which is why no seismic shear waves are observed there, and that is verified by teleseismic data.

And it is as clearly stated here. With math equations and animated gifs. I still don't "get it".

Which leaves me believing in Massive Earth Crust Displacement Theory now that we know our foundation rides on a water rich layer.
Not the frozen kind either. From the ref. in #1 upload. Now that is something I can get, ever since my teacher told me it was only coincidence that South America looked like it could fit with Africa like puzzle pieces.

What do you suppose happened to Mu and later Atlantis, "Between the time when the oceans drank Atlantis and the rise of the sons of Aryas, there was an age undreamed of "
Alexandria and Port Royal too in "our time".

To what degree does this topic fit with the HAB theory?

Immanuel Velikovsky.... a good friend of Dr. Albert Einstein.... stated in one of his books that over the past five million years there had been 171 major magnetic polar shifts!
