Oh my. 'Tingles' Matthews, like so many others is beginning to have doubts? He is "hearing things you wouldn't believe".......... I believe it.
Cream rises to the top, chaff falls off of the grain, etc. ad nauseum. The reality of the Teleprompter in Chief's complete inability to govern, grasp concepts of world politics,or even give aspeech without reading it are now on full display.
And yet, this "tool" and all the other shill tools will slither into the voting booth and cast their vote for the chosen one. Maybe the wood will be a bit softer this time around...but it will still be wood.
Yeah I watched that interview on TV. He is right; Obama has not really felt like a leader. He doesn't seem very social.
I think you are contractually obligated to vote liberal if you work for MSNBC. If I were Obama, I wouldn't worry about losing the Matthews vote.
"Fundamental change" never arises from contentment and prosperity, and is more readily achieved by nurturing and prolonging the opposite. You not only voted for it, Chris, you did your dead level best to sell it.... choke on it.
Matthews isn't the only one disillusioned..... his faults are becoming ever more noticeable. 2012 isn't going to look anything like 2008. Maureen Dowd at NYT's another '08 supporter: Brutal.............. but accurate.
Not many seem willing to throw themselves on their swords for him anymore...... On the campaign trail.........Democrats are claiming prior engagements or flu.......to distance themselves. LOL
Matthews is slipping.. Have you noticed that he spends most of his on air time promoting his new book?
There never was anything to root for, not now or during the 08' election, not for progressives and certainly not for the neo-con Limbaugh puppets. He's attempting to appeal to a center that doesn't exist anymore. A socialist ? Give me a break. He's one of yours and you don't even know it. Bro
Here is an excellent review of Barack Obama's accomplishments and very foolish missteps since he has been our president. It is quite good. "Since taking office in January 2009, President Obama has ushered in a period of relentless economic decline for the United States. His administration has added $4.2 trillion to the national debt (now standing at $14.9 trillion), lost 2.2 million jobs, introduced a vastly expensive health-care albatross, and spent nearly $800 billion on a failed stimulus package. At the same time, house prices across the country have tumbled at an unprecedented rate, consumer confidence has plummeted, and millions more Americans are now dependent upon food stamps. Ultimately, the world needs a powerful United States that is a beacon of hope to the world, rather than a basket case of failed liberal policies." "As Barack Obama approaches the remaining 14 months of his presidency, there is a distinct air of US decline. It is of course a state of decline that can be reversed with the right policies and leadership in place. There is nothing inevitable about the demise of the United States, but its renewal must rest upon a dramatic reversal of the most Left-wing agenda of any American presidency since 1979. As Gallups polling has emphatically demonstrated, Americans are overwhelmingly rejecting the Big Government agenda of the Obama presidency, which has spectacularly failed to create jobs, generate wealth, and instill economic confidence. The biggest failure of this administration, and there have been many, has been its central belief that government knows best, and that the way to prosperity is to spend ever greater amounts of taxpayers money on the backs of hard-working Americans. As a result, the United States is a nation on a precipice, facing towering debts and the threat of a double dip recession at a time when 14 million Americans are already out of work. Ultimately, it is economic freedom, minimal government intervention, and greater individual liberty that can put America back on its feet, rather than endless bailouts, higher taxes and suffocating government regulation, all hallmarks of the Obama experiment. Ultimately, the world needs a powerful United States that is a beacon of hope to the world, rather than a basket case of failed liberal policies." source: http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/ni...rst-1000-days/
Slipping? This clip is one of the rare times that he has said things that I agree with...... His comments about his communications with insiders was an eye opener confirming what many have suspected. Is his book about the Obama administration?
Ah, Chris has reached the bottom of the Kool-aid and is feeling unsatistfied. We have been warning progressives that Obama is an abject failure. It will take years to undo the damage, but the good news is that the Democrat party will be a dried out husk after the 2012 election. Obama is their doom.
I hope Matthews learned something from his rush to get a black president in there...that he didn't vent the guy or examine his background and how bad he would be for this country. And that's not a racist statement....but just fact. I think that's why at least some who voted for him did so. What else would explain voting FOR a community organizer who had no experience other than less than 4 years as Senator? And especially without looking into his background, relationships, beliefs, etc.
Really? That explains a lot........... Listen to Matthews rant when he first begins.... "There is no Peace Corp, there is no 50 mile hikes, there's no moon program, there's nothing to root for." It's clear that fresh after writing a book about JFK, he has had a chance to compare the two and he doesn't like what he has discovered. IMO, he see's Obama as harming his ideology and his party and he yearns for the excitement and faith in America that Kennedy had, much like the Republicans miss Reagans 'shining city on a hill' faith. Anyone comparing the feckless and un-inspirational style of this administration with others is bound to be disappointed. We all are.
It absolutely is the reason why MANY people voted for him. It's also the reason he wasn't scrutinized for being pals with terrorists like Bill Ayers.
No no no. Thats because his liberal bias was called out and spread nationally over both the radio and the Internet and now he feels that he needs to cover his tracks by attacking the very object of his affection. People bought Obama on 'hope' and 'change' just lofty concepts with no actual plan to right wrongs. He got his stimulus, which failed, then got his Obamacare, that everyone hates, I don't really want anything else this guy might try to sell us in the next year.
Didn't you mean progressive puppets and neo-cons. Think, "We speak with one voice," now all together, "We speak with one voice." Mathews isn't attempting to appeal to a center. He's a far-left fool trying desperately to get ratings. It isn't working. I don't have a television but they man is clearly delusional and floundering.
Nice to know that there's still a few live brain cells left in CM's gray matter... But knowing him, the minute BO says something he'll agree with, his eyes will tear up and that tingle will be recharged........ I don't trust CM - he's not stable.......
