This is an opinion piece, which I normally wouldnt post..but it is one which hits the nail right on the head with regards to what many here believe, and have been saying. I post it as an affirmation to those like myself who have been saying the same things. Ever scratch your head and wonder how we could know about a story from high school negatively involving Mitt Romney...but nothing similar about Obama? Well, others are seeing it, and stories which add substance to that line of thought are turning up.

It sure is - you can judge Obama's standing by the media's level of hysteria (and it will probably only get worse).

As the presidential campaign unfolds, it will probably be more interesting to watch the antics of the Journolist cabal, et al, than the sparring between the Obamessiah and Mittens the Ripper. After all, we already know each candidate's politics and policy positions.

As we've seen of late, I expect Obama's lapdogs in the media will continue to under-report the economic issues that are the primary concern of the American electorate - high unemployment, the anemic recovery, high gas prices, etc. - in favor of operating from Saul Alinsky's playbook and opting for the politics of personal destruction. Say goodbye to focusing on the issues and keeping it civil - that's so 2008...

    Yep,
Romney gave someone a haircut 20 years ago..or whatever the timeframe was. Much more important than focusing on the actual issues today. The saddest part about the desperation is that Mitt is clean. this is the best that the mud machine could dig up.

The saddest part to me is that Mitt couldn't remember abusing others this way.

    That leaves three options.

    1) He abused so many people so often that he can't remember specific ocassions.
    2) He doesn't remember abusing others because he has a psychopathic personality that cannot feel empathy or sympathy for others or guilt for his own misdeeds.
    3) He is a liar.

None of the three possible options makes him a more acceptable choice for president in my opinion.

What is amazing to me is that after 4 years of conservative propaganda like Fox telling us how bad the economy is, and how Obama will be a one term president, and hwo his polls are heading straight for the crapper, and what an awful job he has done, and worst president of all times, and given the unemployment rate is still over 8.0%, we are now, barely 6 months from the election, reading stories from conservative sources that Mitt might have a chance to win after all.

You'd think, based on what the conservative media has been spinning, this would be all over by now and Romney is just waiting for the landslide.

Or he messed around with his friends 50 years ago and doesn't remember it.

Do you remember everything you did 50 years ago?

And to think, even after killing Bin Ladin, Obama's poll numbers are still below 50%

And how does all of this translates into discussing economic issues that face America? Was it not Clinton who said "it's an economy, stupid"? Omama and his bootlickers will discuss everything and anything but economy... I wonder why?

No, that is not an option for why Romney said he could not remember the event.

That is your politically biased opinion about a negative information because it reflects poorly on Romney.

    1) It wasn't 50 years ago, and Romney wasn't a small child when it happened.

I do not remember everything I did 50 years ago. But I absolutely remember the very few times I was deliberately mean or mean spirited towards someone, and how back that it made me feel about what I had done.

Economic issues are the more important factor in an election, barring something major like a war or something.

It doesn't relate to the economic issues at all.

It does relate to Romney's character as a person.

so you were deliberately mean to people, and yet you are here calling out Romney for being mean to someone. Hypocrisy knows no bounds.

It doesn't matter. the number one most wanted man that all of america wanted dead, is dead and it helped Obama zero. It means that his policies, and the things he has done, the American people do not like. It is and should be very troubling for him.

Given your predictions two years ago that Obama's poll numbers would soon be in the 30s, I'll give your opinion all the consideration it deserves.

Some of his numbers are lower 40s, given the conditions they are most likely in the 30s.

Yep, the water he was walking on was a mud puddle. They know Greek columns won't fly this time. They know his speaking at the Berlin Wall won't win over people. And now that Black history has been made there is nothing to crow about. All they have left is destruction of Romney at all costs.

But they lost viewership last go around. Conservatives and independents shifted to FOX news to get the both sides of the story. They know full well they will see even more viewers flee this election cycle. If they don't keep this in mind it will hurt them badly. It is better for them to play the straight news game and lose this one so that they can be effective at turning a future election. If they keep up the Obama hype their credibility will go even lower, if that is possible.
