That's a nice sentiment that evaporates the first time you see a burned out car with charred corpses inside. This rarely happens in Israel now but is a common occurrence in other parts of the middle east but I can tell you it's something you'll never forget. Perhaps that's sharing too much but it does contrast the situation now in Israel compared to the sixties and seventies.
I've typed out several responses but none that would advance the conversation in a positive direction so I will cry off. I look forward to future discussions on other topics. Cheers!
I can see why such a huge number of the nation's Left hate Trump with a passion. He actually tries to return this nation to its greatness rather than finish Barack Obama's struggle to make it into a second or third rate power in this world.
One would think you have more to fear from Arab rocket attacks and explosive devices. They are after all far more numerous than any mistakes by a man trying to protect his country against enemies on all sides. Could you do as well? How? Let us know.
We had 3% unemployment before COVID. The previous gold-standard repeatedly taken as common wisdom was that we would always have about 5% unemployment due to job-switching and other short-term causes. Then came the Kung Flu. The China Virus. The Wuhan Death Punch. And the Dems blamed Trump. Heinlein was right. These are the crazy years. It will take four to cleanse America of the Biden crime clan.
A smidge, notice the 60 minutes interview and no debate mods would? If Obama did this there would be wall to wall media saturation and you know that.
Few as in just barely enough to squeeze into the trunk of a 2019 Prius. Next to the matched luggage set.
The rockets flying into Israel, were not some reelection scheme of Netanyahu. The evil out there killing Jews is not some election campaign trick
Obama's last quarterly GDP growth was 1.6%, and the lying dems always claim Obama/Biden left Trump with a roaring economy. What a joke.
You know, periodically these treaties are signed, in many administrations. Some last. Some are short-lived, and are quickly forgotten when there is some other conflict. We'll see if the Trump-brokered ones are the short-lived or the long-lived kind. That region of the world is volatile and a lot of these peace deals are not lasting. Meanwhile, when will North Korea get rid of their nukes? I thought Trump was taking care of that? This said, I welcome these peace deals. I just don't find them that extraordinary. Middle East peace deals come and go. This conflict has been going on for 2,000 years. There is no end in sight.
This forum has turned into nothing but partisan nonsense. Cheerleading or protesting sides. Some of you need to get a hobby, because hanging out on this forum does nothing for anybody. If you come here to preach and turn opinions, not to listen and discuss, you wasting everybody's time and proving nothing.
People are all over the place. Here, maybe I can help clarify or focus--Biden voted for the war in Iraq, supported Obama's disastrous handling of the Arab Spring, wanted us to continue fighting in Syria, and who knows what else. Trump for all his bullshit rhetoric, has been disengaging us from war and very very inclined to not us military action compared to most recent presidents. As for peace, Trump has a record he can run on. These agreements to talk are not peace deals.
What they won't admit was that it was 1.6% growth after eight freaking years because Obama was anti-business and anti-capitalism. The economy roared into high gear under pro-business and pro-capitalism Trump because THEN businesses were willing to risk investing back into their businesses, hiring new people, and expand their product lines. The pre lockdown economy was all Trump's doing just like the recovering economy is all Trump's doing today.
