    You quoted Cohen, not Trump.

Let me help you out. I'll make it easy.

If Trump said that Obama said something, it would not be an Obama quote.

    Got it?

Not sure what dots you want me to connect - but just like I don't have celebrities tell me how to vote or think, I'm not going to continue what you think is cat and mouse.

As someone who grew up in the South in the 50s and 60s I will tell you this is complete BS. The racist democrats who elected the likes of George Wallace and Robert Byrd are still racist democrats. Most would cut their wrist before voting for a Republican. What made the south Republican is two things. When air conditioning came along a large number of people from the north moved south. Second, the people in my generation did not buy into the racist democrat attitudes of our parents.

    Citation needed.

And regardless, not an excuse to make inaccurate accusations.

Pretty much every Republican I've encountered online expresses a similar sentiment, if not in so many words.

Time and again the subtext of their response to black voting patterns is that black people vote Democrat because they are stupid and lazy. They don't know what is best for them. They are on welfare, so the vote Dem. Dems have 'tricked' black voters. There is never the slightest attempt to work out why black voters vote the way they do. On the rare occasions a black voice is listened to it is one that agrees with them. Feedback loop fuelled by prejudice.

Funnily enough white evangelical voters who spent years bleating about the importance of morality and sanctity of life vote for adulterers, sexual predators, and elected a guy who sexualized his own daughter and another who pressured his mistress to get an abortion. Yet somehow they are not considered 'brainwashed' or 'stupid'.

    Got it.

No, they just use a different form of words.

For example, wording it as an attack on Democrats:

.....or reciting shallow, one line understandings of history:

The implication is clear and unambiguous.

Not a single acknowledgement that blacks might understand their own history as well or better than you. Not a single concession that black voters might actually understand what both parties have to offer and have good reasons to vote Democrat. Not a single insight into why black voters vote as they do. Of course, that would require treating the opinions of black Democrat voters as valid and equal in worth to your own. Obviously that isn't going to happen, so you just keep projecting your own reasons or putting up 'how could they possibly vote Democrat?' statements.

No analysis or understanding, just the recitation of rote learned responses.

Latest polling shows Trump with a 40% approval rating among blacks.

They are not stupid. They see the good economy as an opportunity to move into jobs that will take them where they want to go.

Oh, the democrats could have gotten rid of regulations, punched the economy, and gotten people working again. But they didn't. They are much more concerned about illegal aliens and transsexuality & who goes, where.

Hows this picture. NAACP reports the Black support for Trump has moved from 7%-21%. Rasmussen has that number over 36%. Some polls are now showing 40%. With historical low Black unemployment, 4 million off food stamps, and the largest Black leaders meeting with a sitting president at the White House. Picture looks pretty good.

The media don't like it when the people they paint as victims refuse to be pigeon holed into that category.

Also the race card doesn't work with black people.

Democrats have been peddling that story for years. No one ever buys it but they keep trying. The parties never shifted their core values and hasn't changed much from the birth of the Republican party. If I was a Democrat I wouldn't want to be accountable for their history either.

Problem with this story is the historical voting of the parties, the fight to free slaves, segregation, Jim Crow, to include today's environment of how 8 of our most violent cities are all run by Democrats with the strictest gun laws in the country. You need look no further than the condition of the population and cities of California.

Now we have the NAACP reporting 7% Black support for Trump at election has moved to 21%, Rasmussen has this number at 36% and the polls are showing 40%.

I know, it's hard for conservatives to fathom that people of the same race or sexual orientation can think differently.

Not sure what you are trying to say but the difference between Dems and Pubs is pretty clear. Never been more clear since 2016.

No, Just much better numbers moving forward. NAACP reports the Black support for Trump has moved from 7%-21%. Rasmussen has that number over 36%. Some polls are now showing 40%. With historical low Black unemployment, 4 million off food stamps, and the largest Black leaders meeting with a sitting president at the White House, I would say the Black vote has decided to move off the Democratic plantation. Not my words either, its the motto of the new Black movement. Blexit.

I can't believe you don't know what Trump says.

Segregation and Jim Crow laws were done away with for more that 70 years.

How are Democrats of today responsible for Jim Crow laws passed 100 years ago?

Think about it. Let it marinade.

How have Republicans brought the highest level of employment to African Americas?

How exactly and specifically did the GOP do that?

    1. By removing many government regulations that were crippling businesses.

    2. By reducing the tax burden on businesses.

    3. By reducing the ingress of illegal aliens.

Trump's policies aren't aimed at specific racial groups. By improving the business climate, he has improved the lot of all workers. Many, who hadn't had opportunities, are now finding them. One category of people, which has historically had a rough time, is the former felon. Ex-criminals are starting to find decent jobs. That has to help reduce crime.
