At a tv interview Russian prime minister Dimitri Medvedev has responded a question: "We could have declared war against Turkiye but we did not. We had necessary reason to declare war but we did not take that step." At a live program which was about the economical situation of Russia, Medvedev talked about the situation between Russia and Turkiye. He has said that Turkiye has already created the reason for a war when downing Russian plane. "This is called attacking a foreign state. But we thought that this could be the worst scenario so we did not behave symmetrical like Turkiye and we preferred not to start a war." he added. Another qustion was about the possible effects at consumer prices in Russia as a result of economical precautions against Turkiye.
