Actually, one member did take you up on your "challenge". Most were claiming you would not never hold up to your end of the bet....and apparently they were right.

 

I think it was a lack of funds that dried up the day Hillary lost. A bunch of accounts popped up at the start of the election cycle and fairly quickly disappeared when it ended. When posters are so ridiculously partisan and copy and paste talking points, never adding anything that makes them real people, it’s a dead giveaway. Now instead of them being paid by political parties we have Russians paying people to stoke flames on both sides.

It’s best to just start ignoring obvious troll posters as quickly as you get an inclination. If no one responds to them they go away. And it’s not good for anyone’s health to engage with people who are purposely trying to make you angry.

With so many alt-lefties on my ignore list, it can become hard to follow a thread. I took a guess, clicked the "show ignored button" and was not surprised.
Hopefully, this young lady will gain some traction and continue to be a very large thorn in the rear ends of the malcontents.

I expect more trolls as we get closer to the elections or to put it another way, further from the last one they lost. It appears to be getting close to a 3 way battle in the polls though.

 

I only had one for a bit; it was when someone showed orgasmic elation at a child being doxed. But the sheer unintentional comedy gold he consistently displays - I couldn't keep him on ignore for long. Deconstructing his posts for all to see is an absolute joy.

 

I can relate. Dispelling the "elitist" myth can be quite satisfying.
