Until we can get the Covid virus under control we will continue to see a real shortage in goods which is why we are seeing inflation rising faster than the Federal Reserve can control without raising interest rates which will increase the interest on the National Debt. Another burden Americans don't need right now.

Germany is in the grip of a "dramatic" fourth Covid wave, Chancellor Angela Merkel has said on the eve of a crisis meeting with regional leaders.

Daily infections hit a new German record of 52,826 on Wednesday as European governments responded to a surge on much of the continent.

Belgium announced a series of measures in an attempt to avoid a lockdown.

"All the alarm signals are red," said Prime Minister Alexander De Croo, as he told people to limit personal contact.

"Europe's map is quickly going red, and we are the same."

 

The only way out of this is more vaccinations. Not!

There are still two incontrovertible facts about covid.

1. The average age of death is over 70.
2. Those who die have other medical conditions and aren't healthy or are going to die soon regardless.

Newsflash. Old people die. Sick people die. The only real way to move forward is to treat the infection, inflammation, and thrombosis. How to do this is already documented. Vaccines are not the solution, treatment and preventative maintenance are.

The longer this goes on the more it looks like the "conspiracy theorists" were right.

 

That makes no sense. Sounds like just a bunch of political feel-good propaganda for the gullible to lap up.

Of course they're trying to explain away inflation, so no one will blame government policies.

But you realize, don't you, that there is nothing the Federal Reserve can do (when it comes to the long-term) to lower interest rates on the National Debt?

When they lend out newly-issued money to reduce interest rates, it causes inflation, which then increases interest rates (lenders demand higher interest rates to compensate for loss from inflation).
So there's really no "free lunch" here.
Any effects are only going to be short-term.

The Federal Reserve does not have magical economic powers to control interest rates, like many people seem to imagine.

They can only help stabilize short term ups and downs.


Of course all those Germans who survived through the hyperinflation during the Weimar Republic are now dead and buried.

 

Would you like to tell us what the vaccination rates are in Germany and Belgium?
Specifically in these cities where the outbreaks seem to be most concentrated.

It seems to be stupidity to think that if a 74% rate is not working, that maybe getting up to 80 or 90% would solve the problem.
Like doubling down on a policy that has already proved not to be "the" solution.

Anyway, the flow of migrants will ensure a fresh flow of the virus into Europe.

The supply chain problems which will cripple Christmas are all the fault of white men. It has nothing to do with federal regulations regarding truck drivers, nothing at all to do with California's new law banning trucks built before 2011... nah... its all the fault of old white guys.

 

My thread is about imports from Europe and how the virus continues to disrupt the imports. Biden nows says he is skeptical inflation will only be temporary. This is a bipartisan issue that effects all Americans.

 

So vaccines are not working, lets do more vaccine and put everyone in jail.

Only the government says we will eventually put an end to covid. The medical community thinks will become endemic like all the rest of the corona viruses. I had a doctor appointment yesterday and spend some time talking about covid with the doc. He thinks it is already endemic.

 

Fear. Misery likes company so he wants to instill the fear in others. If anyone wants to speak the truth we can say that nothing we have done about covid, including vaccines, has been effective. On the plus side, the vaccines have kept some people out of the hospital.

 

I believe the vaccine has kept many people out of the hospital.

How long do you think it will take to deny food for unvaccinated? It is already happening in some countries.

A consensus seems to be forming that Covid is going to become endemic, just like colds and flu.

You can see that cumulative number of deaths is increasing almost linearly.
The rate of deaths (rise over run) stays the same regardless of vaccination efforts.
That means both vaccinated and unvaccinated are dying at the same rate.
Since we know that vaccinated people hospitalized less frequently, we can conclude that majority of vaccinated are dying without hospitalization.

 

Not every vaccine is equal.
Yes government calls them vaccines, but in reality small pox vaccine eradicated small pox, while COVID "vaccine" did exactly nothing.

Current problem is not a vaccine but how government is trying to force Electronic vaccines passport (QR codes).
There is absolutely no reason to impose totalitarian regime, to get people vaccinated.
We already far more then required 70% of exposed either through infection or vaccination.

 

You might want to educate yourself on the smallpox virus and how long it took to eradicate smallpox after a vaccine was discovered. The vaccine was discovered in 1796 and smallpox was finally eradicated in 1979.

Maybe you can dumb down this for me. I'm not seeing the % of vaccinated people who ended up in the hospital compared to those unvaccinated who did. And of those who were vaccinated how many died in the hospital compared to the unvaccinated who died in the hospital. Show where on the graphs I can see this.

 

Right, it tells me that COVID vaccine is not a vaccine.
No one have been able to prove it the same way as Jenner did.

 

It does not matter what who and how have got into hospital.
The point is that government is lying that vaccinated people have less chances to end up in the hospital.
The slope is almost linear about 30° angle.
If we assume that vaccinated people are dying less then unvaccinated then we should see a decrease in the slope angle because 90% of seniors are vaccinated.
Since slope does not change, it means that vaccinated and unvaccinated are dying at the same rate.
