Shouldn't policy regarding the lgbt community have a basis in something other than how someone identifies during a particular point in time?

For example, a high school age biological male 'comes out' as a woman, competes with women, etc... then years later says "oh... nah I'm not actually a woman". Or, say a business suffers financially or legally due to perceived anti-gay discrimination, then later the individual who was "discriminated" against realizes they're straight, after the damage has been done?

 

Sickness and perversion, nothing more or less.

 

Im tired of people openly tolerating it.

 

When you were 21 and you drove a Trans AM car and competed against others races who had similar cars and when you turned 50 you were driving a honda accord you competed to see how much gas you could save and you changed your mind as to what's important to you. No one discriminates against you because you decided you didn't need a fancy car anymore. It's the same concept when you think about it.

I don't care if they want to turn their pole into a hole. I don't care what they believe and think. I do care that they are forcing it on children. Lets not pretend that our schools are way ahead when it comes to education and have extra time on their hands.

Sexual education absolutely needs to be taught as parents have proven they will not do so. Studies have shown that sexual education including std prevention and pregnancy prevention are directly correlated to declining rates.

Yeah, nope. You'd be lucky to find one in a thousand straight males who'd be cool with a man approaching and offering a drink. Most will be horrified and repulsed. When you work through the psych, it's actually experienced as something like sexual assault. And that's perfectly natural and okay.

Govt has NO BUSINESS sexualising children. If a govt has an issue with teen pregnancies and STDs, they need to address the parents who are failing, not the children who've been failed.

 

Couldn't have said it better. How freaking dare this be imposed on innocent kids .. whose parents may have worked hard to introduce sexuality at a sensible pace (ie, not during damned childhood!), or any kids for that matter.
