Welllllllllllllllllllllllll, from observation, one can suspect that for vast numbers it's a massive sense of self-righteousness and the substitution of feeeeeeeeeeeeeeelings for genuine thought, that should be based on logic and historical facts instead. Or . . . was that a rheotical question?

 

I'm talking about who supplies it, if it's a ,"basic human right" ?
Anybody who wants housing, goes out and earns the money to pay for it. No one deserves the fruit of my labor (the house and property it is on,) without due compensation to the owner (me).

I recently placed an order for Professor Mark Bray's Antifa: The Anti-fascist Handbook. I want to do all I can to understand my enemies and teach others about them, and to devise strategies and tactics to do combat when they come.

I agree. We are not a country which leaves people out dying on the streets (except for the large Democrat cities, whose city councils don't seem to mind that). There will always be 5-10% of humans who simply cannot succeed on their own in a capitalist economy; people with mental or physical deficiencies, or simply aged people who can no longer find employment.

Some of the people in that park are the perennially homeless, most of whom have mental illness. I expect some of those camping lost jobs due to the Covid shutdowns and are 1st time (and hopefully temporary) homeless. It would be interesting to know that mix.
