There have been any number of feminists accusing me of being a misogynist; and basically they don't know what they are talking about. I am not motivated in what I do by hatred of women. I am motivated to a very large extent by love for the women I love. When I care about a woman I adopt her concerns, and frequently I put in vast intellectual and emotional effort into addressing them. And the two main concerns that I hear again and again are the one about domestic violence and the one about vicious behavior of women who call themselves feminists.

I am against both. I have every reason to be against both. It takes absolutely nothing for a man to beat up on a woman, and the men who do such a thing should be arrested or at least shamed. But neither is it rightful for some women to claim leadership over 50% of humanity without 50% of humanity having voted for them to do so, and use this usurpation of power to advance an agenda that is destructive both to women and to men.

Now some of these women are of the belief that a man who takes objection to any aspect of feminism whatsoever is a misogynist. They are completely wrong. It is not just men that object to such things; many women – in my experience successful, intelligent women – do as well. We may as well say that any woman who dislikes the Taliban or Ted Bundy is a misandrist. The correct response to the state of affairs is that Andrea Dworkin and Catherine McKinnon do not speak for women any more than do Eminem or Michael Murphy speak for me as a man. Most people will like some people and not others. This is the case both with men and with women. Disliking some women does not make one a misogynist any more than does disliking some men make one a misandrist.

So we see the other side claiming that anyone who agrees with any aspect of feminism is a pussywhipped idiot or a male feminist. The correct response to both sides is the middle finger. I agree with some aspects of feminism and not others. So should most other people. It is not rightful to viciously push on people a party line. But neither is it rightful to decide that all women are bad and that men should be beating them down.

On both sides therefore we see a vast usurpation of power, with people claiming leadership of 50% of humanity without 50% of humanity having voted for them to do so. And both are using this usurpation of power to viciously bludgeon everyone into conformity with whatever party line they have. And it is about time that more people take my example and say to both sides that, no, they do not speak for 50% of humanity, and even more importantly that most of the 50% of humanity are better people than are they.

This is the case both with men and with women.

So no, the slanders that I am a misogynist or anything of the sort stand rejected. I reject a wrongful usurpation of power. And I hope that more people – both men and women – have the courage to do what I have done.

On US, Canadaian, British, Australian universities, anyone who dares to mention discrimination against men is severely persecuted and blacklisted. Anyone who offends SJWs however slightly is severely persecuted and blacklisted.

As I recall, by the late 1970s in USSR telling Brezhnev jokes was not dangerous. Modern universities are real totalitarian society -- unlike late USSR.

Some worse than others. Someone who sees women fighting for equal rights as hating pretty women is plain sick!

But you focus on what you consider toxic feminism that is irrational...and Sick. You ignore the messages because you have to dig at the messengers. That is the epitome of anti-feminism

Are you saying here that the only people who do such a thing are "anti-feminists"?
How many people make personal digs at writers such as Ayn Rand or Alan Ginsburg instead of addressing their arguments?
I focus on many other things than toxic feminism. You may see some of what I focus on at

I suppose I end up paying more attention to this issue because many people on both sides get riled up by what I say, and that brings responses from both sides. However I have things to say about many more things than feminism, and some of what I have to say is original.

Ayn rand and Alan Ginsburg are individuals..you attack feminists in one broad brush. That’s like attacking the whole black civil rights movement because you don’t Al sharpton

All right. I've given some thought on this over night, and maybe you're right. I mainly speak from my experiences as a university student in 1990s, when feminism took vicious forms. If it has improved since that time, then I am willing to reconsider my stance.

I was a second wave feminist and I heard all the things that you were saying about the third wave. We were to strident, to shrill etc. but we ignored you and we got what we wanted with the support of men who are feminists

It is not men who misrepresent feminism. It is hateful vermin like this
    [IMG]
    which misrepresents feminism.

Hopefully in the Age of Social Media most men will understand that their gender is subject to undeserved hatred just for being male.

And hopefully in the age of social media most women will understand that their gender is subjected to sexual assaults and undeserved hatred for being female. The worst insult is telling a man he acts like a woman, because they hate women

The vast majority of men do not hate women. But more and more men hate misandrists.

How is that any different to saying that women are not best suited to be combat soldiers?

For one, you're talking about a group of people rather than a single person. I could imagine a scenario where we've decided that only one gender is going to get to be combat soldiers. In that case, generalities matter because the traits we may want for combat soldiers are more likely to be prevalent in the general pool of one gender versus another. But when it comes to an individual, those don't apply. It doesn't matter if we identify some traits that are more prevalent in one gender versus another when we're looking to fill one position. All that matters is whether the candidates have those traits or not.

Oh I see what you mean. So is it misogynistic to say that women are not best suited to be President?
