Triggered: I love watching these "adult crybabies" throw their wittow tantwums, feigning outrage, clutching their pearls, and tilting at windmills.

People, I give you Tara Olivia Plum, pride of Coon Rapids, pride of the Plum family, and former instacart employee:

So awesome this made INTERNATIONAL headlines!

Plum proudly joins the Woke Hall of Fame! I'm sure its parents must be so proud.

Will be interesting to see, if it is charged and arrested, if Kamala will bail it out like it did for all the George Floyd peaceful protesters who were wrongly arrested by a racist system.

This seems like a much smaller group than the one that hit the Capital.

They were here. And by "they," I actually mean the correct thied-person plural pronoun.

Difference being Kamala Harris isn't bailing out anyone who "hit the Capital."

After reading the link, I'm even more confused. What the hell is Instacart? Was the a delivery driver? What does she mean they don't pay her? Why was she there then?

If this is the sort of stuff that triggers some people, maybe they need to stop hitting the clickbait. It isn't news.

Instacart is a grocery delivery service. Busy Instacarters report earning $20 - $45/hr.

The only person triggered in this story is the defendant who lost its mind when it saw a "We support the police" yard sign and ran over its customer's groceries. I literally can't stop laughing.

I kind of found it ignorant, and I sort of pride myself on having a good sense of humor.. Now if one of the soup cans would have sliced her tire, sure that be funny :)

So why do you believe this story to be true?

It seems to be lacking sufficient detail for me to form any opinion.

Oh, and BTW, the pay range you state reminds me a lot of the promises by Uber and Lyft, yet when I experimented with them I could never understand how someone could make a living doing that alone. You would literally have no life to make that sort of living wage.

What detail is missing. The type of car? The mileage?

Just wondering what details you think are missing? Appears pretty complete to me.

Then you're reading stuff into it that isn't there.

For example, what did she mean she doesn't get paid by Instacart? What did the sign say that supposedly triggered her? How long had she been doing this for Instacart? Lots of unanswered questions. If it doesn't answer the 5 Ws; who, what, where, when, and why....then it isn't journalism, it's pure clickbait.

It answers what is relevant. She was delivering groceries to a house. Saw a sign she did not like because it was favorable to the police. She then ran over the groceries. I am sure more details will be brought up in her trial.

And that right there is why people become victims of garbage media. They read with their biases in mind and fill in the blanks. This is why clickbait is so popular. Thanks for highlighting that.

    Why do you do this?

You go out of your way to show your stubborness. I don't mean that as an insult, it's just that you just lay it out there and expect no one to notice what you're doing. Do you ever reflect on what you write and the responses you get?

Then what did the sign say? It doesn't say in the clickbait why it triggered her. They didn't even interview the suspect. Why did she say Instacrt doesn't pay her? How long had she been doing that job?

Of course, the tell-tale sign of this being clickbait is the header of calling her a purple-haired. They have a picture which is obvious, but we all know how purple hair triggers righties.

    1. It was a sign in support of the police.
    2. I don’t know, and it doesn’t matter. If her gripe had been with Instacart, she still shouldn’t have destroyed their groceries.
    3. Again, it is not relevant.

    So, from another website:

According to an October 2021 article by The Guardian, some Instacart workers, concerned about “falling wages, unmanageable orders and lack of concern from the company,” were preparing to strike. The outlet notes that Instacart’s pay structure has also prompted “at least two class-action lawsuits.”

The couple had a sign displayed in their yard that said, “THANK YOU BLAINE P.D.,” and the letter “O” in the couple’s sign was replaced with a heart containing a thin-blue-line flag, according to a GoFundme page created to raise money for the couple.

The thin blue line flag has been a source of controversy, NPR reported in November 2019.

“The flag, which shows a thin blue stripe in place of one of the flag’s standard 13 red stripes, is meant to show support for law enforcement — but the ‘thin blue line’ flag also has been associated, at times, with white nationalists,” the outlet reported.

The outlet later noted, “The flag has been used in association with the Blue Lives Matter movement, a pro-police group formed in response to Black Lives Matter and its protests against police violence toward black people.”

After the flag “appeared among the Confederate flags toted by the white supremacists and neo-Nazis” in the 2017 Charlottesville protests, at least one maker of the flag spoke out, USA Today reported.

“We reject, in the strongest possible terms, any association of our flag with racism, hatred, and bigotry,” said Thin Blue Line USA in a statement, the outlet reported. “To use it in such a way tarnishes what it and our nation believe in. The thin blue line flag stands for the sacrifice law enforcement officers of this nation make each day. We ask our nation to hold faith with those that defend the thin blue line.”
This is what a news article is supposed to look like, not what the Daily Mail bag pushed out as clickbait. There is always a story behind the story.

    It is relevant.

Why is someone highlighting this? How does this affect me?

Seems to me that unless you already are in that bubble of Left vs Right mentality, there is no national interest for this, but of course the rags pawning this off as another culture war item have more eyeballs to hook.
