    Hey, I don't care if the religiously deluded find god in the make believe world of Hollywood but if they start singing hymns in the theater or handling snakes or vilifying women or screaming in tongues I'm calling the manager and having them thrown out.....:)

    Unless you can prove that different archeologists have lied, I find your post opinion rather tan fact.

    Even if it can be proven that a great catastrophe, or flood, occurred, it still will not disprove evolution nor prove there is a God.

    That is true, but we are not talking about local floods here. For instance, there are two Flood stories. One is with Yu the Great and the other is the how great was Nuwa, the Chinese version of God. One is more historical than fiction while the other is more religious than historical. And yet, no one can explan the origins of Nuwa given that China has had more written history than any other civilization.

    Your "findings" are the opinion here. There was no world wide flood. Simple.

    (learn what is archaeology and what is geology, btw)

    "Great catastrophe" is so vague that it would include Putin's description of the breakup of the soviet union.

    You actually need both, archeology and geology to explain things. If you only look at geology, your definitions and conclusions are incomplete. And as for geological, take a look at this.

    Yes, "great catastrophe" does sound vague, but you have to use the phrase in the context of writings and how society at that time viewed the world. That is the fun part about archaeology.

    That's an interesting point. Chinese history doesn't record being 5 miles underwater during Noah's alleged flood.The 5th Pharaonic Dynasty in Egypt seems to have overlooked it too.

    The Ark could've been a DNA vault. God could've summed all the species to Noah for him to gather the DNA as well as the actual bodies. Nothing is impossible When it's God who planned to do it. I don't expect Noah do it all without his help.

    The actual time of Noah's flood still remain uncertain.

    I think it's beyond the last Ice Age.

    After the flood, I supposed he needed DNA to re-produce all the species......you know, this theory seems make more sense, at least, Noah's Ark didn't have to be so big and he didn't actually go everywhere to collect every species.
    Make the event seems more possible to have happened.

    Uh, didn't your god create all these creatures in the first place?

    IF that's true then he could've just re-created them...the fact that this alleged all -powerful creator needed DNA is laughable.

    Did Noah have a handy lab to store the DNA (which he didn't know existed) and then "grow " the animals afterwards?


    Ya know, the bible is enough of a fairy tale but now you're going into science fiction...

    You have a lot to learn about science.... and what magic is (hint: fire isn't magic and neither is advanced technology).


    Again: Why would your god, who allegedly created all these creatures and their DNA at the SAME TIME need to have their DNA to recreate them ?

    And do NOT say, "god works in mysterious ways" ....
