You really had to accept the facts that Bush agreed to the date of withdrawal of all US troops and, when the Iraqi parliament refused to grant those US troops a waiver from Iraqi criminal prosecution, there was agreement among the US executive, Congress, and the Pentagon that there be no extension and that they be withdrawn by Bush's specified date.

You could offer nothing to refute that documented reality. You just don't like it.

Removing Saddam Hussein and Muammar GaddafI simply unleashed many more Islamic nut jobs across the planet. Different kettle of fish in the Middle East, they need controlled by dictators. The West pushed their democratic ideology onto them with disastrous results.

Kay's successor, named by CIA director George Tenet, was the former UN weapons inspector Charles Duelfer, who stated at the time that the chances of finding any WMD stockpiles in Iraq were "close to nil."
