I don't really think this is going to improve the food situation. It was undoubtedly for publicity. Should the perpetrators be prosecuted:

 

Since it is in a protective glass display case I am guessing the pumpkin soup was wasted.

 

Lets see how they like the food in prison for a few days. With luck it might even have a farm they can work in while they lecture other prisoners on how to improve the quality of the produce they raise.

 

When they get done with their prison sentence take all of the physical possessions they own and destroy them

 

Why? They didn't actually do any damage and they knew they wouldn't. They threw pumpkin soup against a glass case designed to stop bullets. It is widely known that this glass is bulletproof, so all they did was irritate people & facilitate a cleanup of the area. Not sure what the penalty is for disturbing the peace & minor criminal damage (at worst), but I'm pretty sure the French can handle that without destroying their property.

I wish you were this angry at the people who attacked & beat police or damaged the Capitol building on Jan. 6. Lots of actual broken stuff (and people) there. I guess its different when youj agree wiht the criminals.

 

And I wish you could actually provide a post sometimes when you quote me where you don't decide to make me the topic and just stick to the damn topic.

 

The topic is someone throwing pumpkin soup at a bulletproof glass case. Demanding that such people have all their property destroyed is an absurd overreaction that is really making it all about you. Don't play victim when someone points out how absurd that is.
