I have trouble understanding people like Sam Harris when he tries to link scientific (empiric) Moral principles with wellbeing. There is no indicator of "wellbeing" that is ought, nor is. It is just a judgement like all moral judgements. And judgements are not fixed nor static. His relation of wellbeing is "happiness". Happiness is not a fixed value. Happiness is actually contentment and has no value of producing improvement...which is the whole point of wellbeing. To do unto others, has no coherence to do unto you.
