I tell ya folks , this aint science anymore it is just alarmist politicians lining their pockets by exploiting the gullible low information crowd

    meanwhile in the real world

also wonder how much the weight of all those buildings and structures has contributed to the land mass compacting

I'm guessing that scientists know just a little bit more than the NY Daily News -- or college dropout Anthony Watts -- actually reports.

wasn't watts or the NY Daily news

    Source for the chart http://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/sltrends/trends/8518750.png

don't you trust NOAA data ?

some of us don't cherry pick to make a political point, nor do we have to be spoon fed our data and talking points. I can see why you chose your nickname now

Watts is daily reading for me as is RCP. Politico, Washington Post and WSJ. I do a little bit of ala carte reading also depending on the day and what piques my interest

So it was just a coincidence that you started this thread on the very same day that Watts posted this, and used the exact same NYDN article that Watts used, and used the exact same graph that Watts used? Just a coincidence. Riiiiiight.

The sun and moon have a greater effect on the oceans than anything man has done or will ever do. I also wonder if these data collectors know the difference between sea rise and costal erosion.

still trying to deflect that it is NOAA data and a NOAA chart I see instead of addressing the info. I said Watts is daily reading for me,I guess he is daily reading for you also. Lots of good info over there

not to mention that land rises and sinks for various reasons. Bangkok, the Louisiana coast, Islands becoming overpopulated and depleting the fresh water lens. However politicians always like to use alarm ism so they can shear the low information sheeple for more taxes for them to divert to their corporate friends
