This is just breaking news and no details yet. As with everything this admin. has done, Americans can bet this is just another way Trump, with the work of Little Stephen Miller will rig the election. Cheat, Lie, Pollute, it all means nothing if you win. Winning is all that matters no matter how you do it.

You failed to mention the fact that the congressmen can't be trusted with classified information. They leak it while they are hearing it. In the DNI shoes, I would stop providing any classified information to them until they can control the leaking.

 

Both sides fo plenty of leaking that has been happening for years.
The problem is not of them getting the info because it says they still will the problem is they wont be able to question the truthfulness of the info. The memos could all be lies from trump which would be nothing new...

Whats really amazing is how the left falsifies and leaks so much information that the intelligence community has to put everything in writing so the left can't lie about it.

You know, you could have at least written a short synopsis in your opening post what this corruption supposedly is, so we don't have to click on the link to even find out.

 

And if anyone is caught doing that, they can be prosecuted. Crying and saying "Well they committed a crime too!" is no excuse for promoting crimes yourself.

 

There are an awful lot of 'anonymous sources' in our elected positions in this country.

I'm not promoting a crime, but many people wanting to politically damage the opposing party certainly have no problem committing a crime.

The conversation you responded to involved the suggestion that the administration should ignore the law and stop briefing Congress.

 

A delay isn't illegal and probably appropriate given the corruption in congress.

 

They will leak those as well. We all know that.

 

They are required by law to give regular briefings to Congress. They have no legal power to set conditions on giving briefings. All they can do is hope that the courts will accept that a written briefing is sufficient or just knowingly violate the law and hope that they can tie it up in the courts long enough to get away with it for a while. Wouldn't be the first time this administration **** on their oath of office.

The law requires that Congress be "fully and currently informed" by intelligence agencies. You can't delay and still claim to keep them "currently informed."

 

OK, let the leaking continue. Suits me.
