I just did, and as usual, you evaded the point. You just screamed ad homs and went off into a weeping fit. Same old same old. If you ever manage to locate your ... courage, respond to the issue I just raised, the one that sent you into hysterics. By denying that the redshift exists, you're denying that the Doppler Effect exists. Given that I can literally hear examples of the Doppler Effect as I type this, that means you're denying basic reality. Therefore, laughing at your bizarre cult beliefs is the appropriate response.
So he is a flat earther? If so, that explains quite a bit of his posts. I had no clue he was one of these folks. Now it makes sense.
It's more than that. For example, the study of galaxies has shown that the majority of the mass of the universe can't be directly detected by the science of today. That's a pretty freaking gigantic terra incognita to blow off with "it's just a map".
Kindly do not refer to me in the third person. If you want to discuss with me then draw my attention to the fact and I'll engage with you.
So, are you a flat earther? Another poster had said as much, and I was asking him if this were so. He never replied, I don't think. And I apologize man, as I should have asked you. And now I have.
It's protocol on forums such as this one - not to mention good manners - that we don't discuss third parties . . . whether they're 'flat-earthers' or not!! Now, if you have any questions for me then feel free to ask them.
So the apology was not quite enough? And like my mother, god rest her soul, you must chide? Ok fine. Again, are you a flat earther? For this belief is one of the things that might explain your posts on this section of the forum. I cannot imagine what else would prompt you. But my mind is open to other things of course. So please enlighten me. And you could just be an eccentric, but hey, I like eccentrics. More interesting. And thought provoking, which I am fond of as well.
If your mind is open to other things then why is it so tightly closed on this subject? 'Tis a puzzlement! Anyhoo, no, I'm not an eccentric, just a guy who doesn't like being taken for a gullible fool by self-serving charlatans who are able to convince others (and I'll admit they're good at it) that they're experts in their field, any field actually, not just cosmology, but are not willing to submit any tangible evidence . . . and computer graphic imaging is not tangible evidence.
So, a flat earther. I do have an open mind sir, but not so open as a flat earther that a tilt of the head loses brain matter as it oozes from the ear canals. And I do not mean this as a personal insult to you, but to that entire group of intellectual misfits, who believe in the greatest tin foil hat story ever concocted by humanity. Some people are just delusional. And I think it is probably not good.
Sorry but I don't engage with anyone unless they're roughly the same IQ as myself. And you don't even come close!
