Also, there are plenty of empty buildings in the Gaza Strip. Why can't they put the rockets in those? If they can't find one of those buildings, why can't they at least order everyone out of the home, mosque, hospital, school, etc. before they move in?

Back in the revolutionary war it was customary for the armies to meet on the battle field and march out there toe to toe. Instead the U.S. decided to do gorilla war tactics instead because their armies would be obliterated if they did the "standard" at the time. Does that make the U.S. at the time cowards and terrorists? Well the answer is yes....to the British. Not to the U.S. though.

Let's be logical here. If you are wanting to win a war and you are out gunned, out manned, and severely under tech against your enemy, would you try to go against your enemy toe to toe? If you would, you would make a lousy military commander.

EDIT: the Palestinians are fighting to win, Israel is fighting to limit the amount of human casualties as much as it can. Who do you think has the better tactics to actually win the war?

In war, which is why it is supposed to be the last resort, it is brutal, uncivilized, and uncaring. That is how war is supposed to be fought, not the warfare we wage now. Until Israel decides to actually "win", they will be forever in this loop.

 

Most abandoned buildings in Gaza are right next door to occupied ones. It's not exactly a big area.
