That's exactly what I was thinking. Put Bruce Campbell in charge. BLTs for the Muslim Brotherhood as far as I'm concerned.

Even if it wasn't a photoshop, his posting of the photo is a misnomer as an argument. It's akin to posting a pic of the KKK and then claiming that christians are "christianonazis"...It's just an absurd argument, as is the term, "Islamonazi" which is why I laughed.

So no then? Then what do they have to worry about? As long as theyre not brutalizing their own people and blatantly exporting/supporting terrorists they should be OK.

What's so silly about IslamoNazis threatening to kill people for exercising their fundamental human rights, zulu? Are you an Islamofascist, too?

In pointing out the similarities between fascism and Islamofascism, the late great polemicist Christopher Hitchens rebuts your boy Benjamin's opinion on this matter:

The most obvious points of comparison would be these: Both movements are based on a cult of murderous violence that exalts death and destruction and despises the life of the mind. ("Death to the intellect! Long live death!" as Gen. Francisco Franco's sidekick Gonzalo Queipo de Llano so pithily phrased it.) Both are hostile to modernity (except when it comes to the pursuit of weapons), and both are bitterly nostalgic for past empires and lost glories. Both are obsessed with real and imagined "humiliations" and thirsty for revenge. Both are chronically infected with the toxin of anti-Jewish paranoia (interestingly, also, with its milder cousin, anti-Freemason paranoia). Both are inclined to leader worship and to the exclusive stress on the power of one great book. Both have a strong commitment to sexual repression—especially to the repression of any sexual "deviance"—and to its counterparts the subordination of the female and contempt for the feminine. Both despise art and literature as symptoms of degeneracy and decadence; both burn books and destroy museums and treasures.

As you conveniently failed to cite from your own source, Muslim scholar Khalid Duran has also employed the term, as have the other scholars and writers such as Malise Ruthven and the aforementioned Christopher Hitchens.

:above: IslamoNazis, Islamofascists, take your pick. Either term fits...

I am through calling Muslims names like Islamofascists. From now on let's call Muslims what they really are: Misogynistic Homophobes.

To repeat, your photoshop pics are a misnomer as an argument. It's akin to posting a pic of the KKK and then claiming that christians are "christianonazis"...It's just an absurd argument, as is the term, "Islamonazi" which is why I laughed. A minority of idiots with banners claiming to speak on behalf of the vast majority of muslims, are no more representative of the said muslims than are the minority KKK's views on race representative of christians. Hitchens had an political and ideological agenda and his term is puerile. "Islamonazi" is an absurd a term as "christianonazi" is. Nazism is an irrational and repugnant ideology that must be condemned. However, to attribute it to religion is plainly silly and to to do so indicates that
the perpetrator has an underlying agenda.

Nice generic piece of labelling there....If you said something similar about jews, for example, your antisemitic stereotyping would rightly be regarded as unacceptable to civil discourse. But for racists, muslims are regarded as fair game...I get it.

I think it was MOS DEF who stated the US must change. Again another bunch of elite taking the credit from a Black man, and making massive money off it.

This is what happens in war. Don't expect candy and roses for the enemy. Here's a book that describes an analogous episode:

America has no Muslim friends any where on earth. Some are detached, some willing to trade, some zealous, and some murderous...none friendly.

The Hanbali group seems to be the source of the hydrophobia on the Sunni side. Most other Sunnis are neither friend nor foe. Sufis are ok. Ahmadis are ok. Appostates are just fine. Shias are more sketchy.

No. More like an exploration of our underlying fear of the Other Through History.

Yeah, and while we're generalising let's call all Americans fat, stupid and gullible.
