The Democrats have three big issues, abortion, climate change and growing government through excessive spending and transfer payments to those who wish not to work. My parent's generation viewed work as a necessity and success as something strive for. The current generation of Democrats view work as something that is optional and success as something you stole from a minority. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) laid it out quite nicely, "Work if you feel like it." Otherwise, you should receive government assistance which means, live off the fruits of other people's labor. The only reason why people fail is because the system is against you according the Democrats. Their ultimate goal is equal outcomes for all regardless of your talents or your efforts. The Democrat leaders know that this is crap, but they sell it to the "low information voter" and tell them they are entitled to a free ride. Many college students and recent college graduate graduates are among the low information voters if you count brainwashing as low information. It's hard to define what utopia for Democrats is because none of them have had the guts or vision to define what they want. All they do is constantly gnaw around the edges to pander to groups like angry minorities, gays, transsexuals and anyone else who might feel left out and unfairly treated. The net result of the Democrat failures will be poverty and a breakdown of the social system. It happens repeatedly when the socialists take charge.
By expanding the money supply faster than the economy expanded, a lot faster. Of the 2022 budget about half is funded by expanding the money supply, ie. devaluing the dollar. Biden's policies and the WEF recommendations have damaged other countries' economies so the Democrats jump up and down and point and say 'we damaged their economies too!', so it's a world-wide problem and not just ours. Yes, WEF has affected a lot of world leaders, the countries that come out ahead will be the ones who most quickly dump their idiots.
So nothing happened prior to 21 and 22 that could have caused it? No world wide shutdown? Massive loss of businesses, jobs and life? Massive QE and monetary injections to prop up a failed administration? No failed trade wars? No fuel manipulation? No massive dumps of money into the economy?
Maybe you should ask a liberal one day without slinging paragraphs of insults and half thought out positions you believe they have. Also, if you consider individuals with post secondary education — especially those with masters and PHDs — to be low information, who do you think has high information?
High information people began by having some moral and ethical values and common sense.I traded posts here with an individual who thinks cashless bail is great because the poor should be equal with the rich because no one should go to jail because of a lack of funds. The problem with that egalitarian position is that the criminals learn that there are no consequences for their actions. Therefore they get carte blanche to commit crime after crime. There are many examples in New York, which has a “bail reform law,” but one is a women, who calls herself “a professional booster” who has been arrested for shop lifting over 100 times. Another career criminal, who has been arrested over 20 times was caught on camera pushing a person off a subway platform. A “high information voter” would see that shoplifters can destroy business which destroys neighborhoods when stores have to close because of crime. They also should see that persons who commit violent acts repeatedly should not be left on the streets. This represents a break down of public safety and the quality of life for honest citizens who currently make up the vast majority of the population. Criminality is not a civil right. We could get into the problems with socialism and one party rule later. It seems that many “low information” college professors are not well versed on that subject.
You should look up the US money supply over the past 5 years and get back with us. Pay special attention to the past 18 months.
So you believe high information is based off of morality (which is completely subjective) and ethics (also subjective) and “common sense”? None of these mean high information and your assertion is basically that you get to determine how informed one is based on criteria that you get to define. That sir, is absurd. To cash bail, do you believe people should go to jail because they do not have money while someone who has committed the same crime doesn’t go to jail because they are very wealthy? That doesn’t seem very moral or ethical. This is more of an issue with lax enforcement. If someone is arrested again shortly after a first arrest they should sit in prison. What you described does happen but it is a failure of the system and isn’t really about equity but rather a twisting of it. Most liberals do not support shoplifters being ignored. Some on the very extreme fringe do but that isn’t even close to a majority position. Many do what to find the causes of such actions and attempt to correct them. Socialism is a fun buzz word but very few advocate for that system where the means of production is owned by the community. Democratic socialism for key items in a capitalist economy is different and has been very successful in many other nations to bring about positive societal benefits like higher rates of happiness, lower rates of crime and longer life expectancy. Can you agree all of those are good things and something our system currently seems to be declining in?

Psychologically, that's consistent. They don't view others (the ones that don't look, love and/or worship the way they do) as equals so anything that demonstrates positivity from the other side or negativity on their side is ignored. They can't bring themselves to consider voting in their best interests by voting D because voting D means kinship with all the demographics they vehemently hate. It takes quite a bit of courage for someone to consider the idea of learning about something that disproves their point-of-view.

Inflation along with other economic negatives happen no matter which party is in power. To limit it to the left is to be ignorant of American macroeconomics over a historical timeline. Certainly reasonable people can debate whether Keynesian or Classical or some other economic system is best, but to limit economic negatives to the left is silly. Many Democrats dislike Biden because they disagree with his policies and/or performance, which is the same reason many Republicans don’t like Trump or Bush. As for the my way or the highway behavior of partisans on the left, partisans on the right have the same attitude. Actual socialists I have talked to see the Democrats as conservative. Simply calling Democrats socialists and communists is as ill informed as calling Republicans fascists or Christian Nationalists. Just because some Republicans are Christian Nationalists does not mean all are just as calling Democrats socialists does not mean they all are. OP, you remind me of me a decade or so ago. The way Joe Biden has been acting since he became President, I have begun to think of him as a traitor to his own people.
