It might be a little bit off topic but I agree with you 100% corn liquor is for drinking. And corn is for eating or feeding livestock. There's a damn good reason why we've been running internal combustion engines on gasoline all this time because it works the best
Corn ethanol is nothing but a scam and handout for farmers. Scientists and engineers have always known this. Until recently, and perhaps still true, it took almost a gallon of petroleum to make a gallon of corn ethanol. If we took all the land dedicated to growing corn and instead grew fuel-producing algae, we wouldn't need oil at all anymore. Funny, when I was in Nebraska, home of the Corn Huskers and a major supplier of ethanol, I saw gas stations proudly advertising that their gas does NOT contain ethanol!
Hell yeah!!! I just scored 6 gallons of ethanol free, in other words regular gasoline... Today. I filled up my 5 gallon can and my one gallon can and it cost $28 and some change. There's one station in town that sells it that's about 5 mi away and there are two other ones but they're about 20 mi away. Only problem is half the time when you go to the one in town here they're out.
I did the math, my 6 gallons of regular gasoline should get my bike almost 1,000 miles. A .75.... Or 3/4 of one gallon tank is said to get 100 MI. And I believe it too because I can fill the tank all the way to the top.... Go about 5 miles and open the tank and look, it looks as though it has consumed 1 oz of gasoline
I'm out here doing the midnight Rider thing again..... It's my night off. Currently sitting right here drinking beer. Pop a top again I say! The dog pound is right across the street. I had strongly considered putting on my ninja suit and going to break them all out but I suspect a few of those dogs are really bad dogs you don't want to open the door for so I'll just take a pass on that for tonight. Plus I'm pretty sure that the local county mounties and the dog pound employees would not appreciate my efforts so I don't do that!
