    Two points on that:
One: If it's bad enough it can lead to Impeachment and Removal from office. IMO, in this case, there was never much chance of that, but I'm sure others have differing opinions. Two: The question of whether or not a sitting president can be indicted on run of the mill criminal charges. That' a legal grey area. I say no, but once again, I'm sure others would disagree.

That has to be the take from the consumers of Fake News, that if they want to quit getting blindsided all the time, they need to start getting their news from the same places the folks that are getting these things right, do.

I agree with that. We have all these US Attorneys on payroll, and then every time something comes up we need a Special Counsel? What the hell for?

But, I want to see these SOB's get to work!

Anyone who continues to watch CNN during this election cycle will need at least an hour a day of InfoWars to counter more episodes of reflexive sky crying. ;-)

Now everyone knows that the MSM is just the Fake News house organ for the corrupt political class.

"Logan spoke to retired Navy SEAL Mike Ritland about a variety of topics on Friday for his Mike Drop podcast (h/t Breitbart), and the conversation eventually turned towards her agreement with Ritland that “the media everywhere is mostly liberal, not just the U.S.” As Logan lamented that voter registration among journalists shows that the media is out of balance, she came with a metaphor to explain how she believes the press is tinged by the sameness of opinion.

“Visually, anyone who’s ever been to Israel and been to the Wailing Wall has seen that the women have this tiny little spot in front of the wall to pray, and the rest of the wall is for the men. To me, that’s a great representation of the American media, is that in this tiny little corner where the women pray you’ve got Breitbart and Fox News and a few others, and from there on, you have CBS, ABC, NBC, Huffington Post, Politico, whatever, right? All of them.

And that’s a problem for me, because even if it was reversed, if it was vastly mostly on the right, that would also be a problem for me. My experience has been that the more opinions you have, the more ways that you look at everything in life.”

Mueller took a lot of heat during the investigation and is still taking a lot of heat after the investigation. This heat was/is coming from both sides of the political aisle, but the timing on when each side applies the heat seems to be determined by the appearance of which side Mueller is viewed to be helping at any exact moment.

I do not blame Mueller...and never have. He was just a guy that was assigned a task....a task that would have been assigned to someone else had he declined to do it. It is not his fault that the investigation took place.

    Another insider spills the beans:

"Jill Abramson, who was the top news executive at the Gray Lady from 2011 to 2014, writes in “Merchants of Truth” that the biased coverage of her successor Dean Baquet is hurting the newspaper’s credibility.

“Though Baquet said publicly he didn’t want the Times to be the opposition party, his news pages were unmistakably anti-Trump,” writes Abramson, who also faults the Washington Post for its reporting. “Some headlines contained raw opinion, as did some of the stories that were labeled as news analysis.”

She said the coverage of Trump conflicts with the principles espoused by former Times publisher Adolph Ochs in 1896 to report the news impartially “without fear or favor.”

“The more anti-Trump the Times was perceived to be, the more it was mistrusted for being biased. Ochs’s vow to cover the news without fear or favor sounded like an impossible promise in such a polarized environment,” Abramson writes in the book."

And we told them every step of the way that they were wrong, blind, and being misled and rather than reconsidering, they told us repeatedly that we were not only wrong, but supporting a lying traitor to the nation. You can't crawl out further on the limb than that.

U.S. Was Closer To Coup D’Etat Than Ever Before.
There must be consequences sufficient to deter future such efforts, for individuals, for institutions, and for the Democratic Party.

What I saw there looked like Chris Matthews just realized there isn't any there, there. I expect him to stop talking about it within three days. Next week Matthews will act like it's over and move on.

They all need to splain it all to a grand jury.

"Now that special counsel Robert Mueller has found that no one in the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election, Democrats are busy moving the goal posts. But this is a distraction from the real reckoning that needs to come.

The one we need is for all the intelligence officials—including former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former Central Intelligence Agency chief John Brennan, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s former Director James Comey and former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe—who pushed the Russia conspiracy theory. The special counsel has just made clear they did so with no real evidence."

WALL STREET JUSTICE, Mueller Exposes Spy Chiefs, Did our intel leaders have any evidence when they pushed the Russia collusion line?, By William McGurn, March 25, 2019.

Do you have any evidence that there are Grand Juries looking into any of this?
