My Magical Button to Delete Atheism

I said something is infinite. I did not say it was God. I've said many times: The one thing the atheist and theist should be able to agree on is that something is infinite, though we may disagree on what it is.

Jesus said it plain and simple, leave you family, do not trust them, hate them, trust only me and do only what I tell you too. Jim Jones used the same words to murder over 900 people by ordering them to drink Kool-aide. It could not be said any plainer.

 

What is truth--what Jim Jones said, what Moses said, what ALLAH said? Who decides what is truth? YOU? Ahhhhhh, yes, that is why Christianity is broken up into thousand of sects, anyone gets to decide what the truth is.

TRUTH is an interpretation of facts or often just some foolish belief. Even when TRUTH is an interpretation of fact, it is often a foolish and mistaken interpretation.
Stick with FACTS.

Did you know Jim Jones was a Communist and atheist who attacked the Bible? And did you know Jones was closely allied to Hollywood hero/pedophile Harvey Milk?

 

Because there has to be a Designer.

 

Jim Jones was a self-proclaimed christian, who as things went on claimed to be Jesus himself. He was a kook, more so than most Christians, but, he was by his beliefs, and teachings a Christian. You may not agree with the way his denomination believed, but 'any claim that he was NOT Christian is total nonsense.

 

Sorry, but it is quite obvious that there never was any designer to the universe, it is totally illogical and foolish. Any 12 year old gamer could design a better universe. One that was not 99.9 percent nothing. One that did not have 99.999999999percent incapable of supporting human life. And on and on and on.

 

Who designed the designer?

Allright, so how is a 12 year old gamer going to make pure eneregy pop into existence?

The only place this naturally occurs is in the center of stars during the fusion process. Guess what didin't exist until the Big Bang? A source for pure eneregy it would seem .... agh, the mysterious 12 year old gamers will solve that.

However, even if said gamers of magic can conjure up pure energy, enough that quantities of enery consumed in an explosion whose background radiation we can detect 14 billion years later mind you (no small amount of energy) but leaving enough raw material to literally create the entire universe (or multiverse).

Conversely, and I feel the need to inject Dawkins arguementation into this now, whose premise lies on occam's razor, the simpler answer is the best answer - the 'random' natural approach here is beginning to look a lot more complex than a designer - so, Dawkins afficiandos take notice.

However, we still have ANOTHER problem. Energy does not have mass. no mass means no gravity. No gravity means .... there is nothing to drive that fusion process to create pure eneregy either. So 'something' caused it to explode. We have no idea what this was.

However, all the scientific minds of atheism, which apparently can be summed up by a 12 year old gamer (who would have though? Not me certainly ) have now postulated that explosion resulting in massive creation are just the result of randomness - when we know explosions that acheive something effective are statistically FAR more probable to have a design element to them. I mean as a military planner, I would be laughed at if I said, "I wouldn't worry boss, I am sure a random explosion from collected natural gas will just happen to explode under the Taliban as teh assault begins - no need for air power at all Sir."

THAT is the claim that atheism makes.

So, I think we can conclude two things:

1. You take an awful lot on faith.

2. You have an inordinately high opinion of 12 year old gamers.

 

That makes one of us.

Then the only reason you haven't already done it is that you're only 11. Have I got that about right?

I can think of many worthwhile things that would be lost if someone did this or deleted all theists.

 

The French Revolution could have been avoided if the King simply recognized the citizens faction and stood up to the church and nobles who weren't paying fair taxes and had special privilege it was when the King dismissed the citizens faction of common people that they were left with no choice and fought back having the numbers. The King could have done the brave thing and focused on his common people and had their support instead of having it unleashed on the nobles and church and the King and his household. It was never atheistic many common French citizens liked the faith of the Catholic Church not the people running it.

As for the other interests mentioned they were dogmatic religions around one leader Marx never likely religion but wanted to elevate the common person with education to not need it anymore, never forcing it out of the everyday life at gun point.

 

You believe that atheists are responsible for this nonsense? Are you, as an atheist towards Ahura Mazda, guilty of this?

 

Even if you deleted both atheism and religion, oppression, genocide and injustice would all continue to exist because humans would still be humans and want to dominate one another. If not one political philosophy then another.

Trying to paint one group of humans as inherently unjust and another as inherently just is part of the problem. Power corrupts whether the source of power is religion, politics or economics.

 

Regarding the OP, you can't delete the truth.
