No, others on this forum convinced me that if Mike Flynn isn't charged with a violation, it's completely meaningless.

I'm now on record saying Biden/Harris should be on the phone to Iran NOW planning for our return to the JCPOA in January...

BTW, how did Nancy "influence the measures or conduct" of any foreign government here?? She just signed what everybody else was going to sign, most likely...

    Huh?

    "Violated" the "Logan Act"?

HOUSE Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and her counterparts in G7 member states, issued a declaration from its virtual summit to name the climate crisis “the existential threat of our time.”
Pelosi joined the leaders of parliament from Canada, the European Union, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United Kingdom for the online summit where the legislative leaders discussed both the environment and the coronavirus.

    How? Exactly?

She is pretending to be someone that matters. She doesn't have any authority to make any deals. It's just more showboating.

Please cite the exact section of the Logan Act that you claim she violated.

Yeah, leader of half of the Legislative Branch and two heartbeats away from the Oval Office is pretty damned insignificant...

She still can't make deals as a representative of the US. She is just pretending.

What was negotiated? You story says it was a teleconference. Were they just talking about issues? It seems so.

The OP made it seem like some laws were broken. I haven't seen anything like that. Which is why I asked if you knew of specifics.

So, I ask again, what policy was discussed.
That seems to be the missing part of the thread.

    Exactly.

I still don't see anywhere that Pelosi "violated" the Logan Act.

    The entire premise seems misguided.

In June 2007, Representative Steve King introduced legislation that would prohibit Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi from drawing on federal funds to travel to foreign states which the U.S. deemed to sponsor terrorism. King claimed that Pelosi's dialogue with the Syrian government violated the Logan Act.[12] The amendment was not adopted.

    There is no violation.

What did Flynn do that violates the Logan Act? We have the transcript...please do tell in detail...

I have no doubt that Biden is on the phone with Iran...we know they are interferring with the election on his behalf.....so....I suppose we should get some wiretaps....

oh so...Nancy doesn't think for herself? She just signs whatever anyone else tells her too..and doesn't think of the American people? Not surprised

So let me get this straight ....Nancy P uses tax dollars to fly and have tea with murderous, left wing dictator Assad.....because Bush called him out on his actions, Rep King makes a bill that says if you do that, and use tax dollars it's illegal....Speaker Nancy, and the Dem shut it down....and you are happy about this?

Well, fine...Nancy and the dems got to have to tea with someone like Assad....

but what does that have to do with this?

She wrote declarations as a representative of the US House. It goes far beyond a 'conference' call as you pretend. Trump removed the US from that awful Paris deal, and Pelosi attempting to keep that trash alive is clearly not in her purview, nor within her authority...

    That is not the topic.
The point of my link was to show the Logan Act was not violated.

Flynn was not charged with violating the Logan Act because nobody thought he violated the act, although both Biden and Obama thought it might be a helpful aid for the Democrats political future. It is a stretch, but your abetting Biden/Harris to break the law might in itself be illegal. If Pelosi wasn't corresponding with foreign leaders to influence them, what the hell was she doing there -- serving them her special ice cream maybe?

    I didn't say it was.....
I just highlighted your post doesn't support that...and in fact highlights that Dems love to support Assad and love using our tax dollars to do it.

I don't think anyone really knows what the Dems support..besides....Jim Crow....and Slavery....they seem to be bouncing around since they lost those things here in America. in particular since Nancy P embraced Assad

It's not really that hard. Easy actually. Per the Logan Act teleconferencing is a violation, "correspondence or intercourse" being the operative words.
