NASA Supports Replacing American Flag With A New Design - Diversity Gone Amok

Back to the thread, a "one world government" will eventually take hold - the earth is too interconnected and intertwined for this not to happen. It will most likely happen outside of our lifetimes but the eventually of this is evidenced. Continental governments may still exist as state entities but a unification of powers will occur. Whether this is a good or bad thing remains to be seen.

That said - a US governmental agency promoting and displaying this using taxpayer funds is a waste of funds and human capitol - not to mention lowers the public perception of said institution.

I still don't understand how NASA has anything to do with the left. What in God's name are you blokes talking about? Space exploration is not socialist, or progressive, or libertarian, it's not conservative either.

Some people simply need to create a vehicle for their irrational, unfocused rage, and liberals, whatever that means, seem to be quite handy for that.

Not really, white pride is silly seeing as how we weren't brought here as slaves and pretty much killed off the natives.

American pride? Show me a liberal who isn't proud to be an American. Conservatives take the whole "exceptionalism" thing to extremes. Especially seeing as how in SO many areas, we've fallen behind. Name it: education, health care, and infrastructure to name but a few.

First of all, that's not my picture. I don't know who it belongs to, all I did was link to it.

But then you essentially tell me not to make the assumption that the person in it is a liberal all while you go on to make 3 assumptions yourself; anarchist, racist, tea partier.

 

Maybe that's what it means to you. To most of is it represents freedom, and the sacrifices millions have made to ensure that we stay free and the greatest nation in the history of the world. It represents the shield that protects me and mine from the horrors that plague so much of the world, and represents the epic accomplishments that have been made by those representing this great nation. It represents opportunity to be and do whatever you want to be or do. The only thing holding you back from success here is yourself, no matter how much the left claims that it is impossible. Removing the flag is a huge mistake.

As with most foreigners... you will continue to hate and complain about us, until you need us... then hate us more if we don't come running to your defense fast enough. So run to Putin the next time you need help. See how far you get before he buries your ass in the dirt.

Hopefully by next year we will have elected an administration that actually takes pride in being American and again make our nation one others are proud to be friends with. The rest can take their chances.

Education? Our higher education is FAR and away the best. No contest at all. K-12, its fine if you live in a decent district and minorities bring down our numbers. Blame Liberals for our education problems since they've been in control of it since maybe the 60s? Our best are just as good as anyone else's best when it comes down to it. Where's Google, Facebook or Apple Finland? Oh, they don't innovate sh1t? Yeah, thought so=)

Healthcare? It might be expensive but quality-wise....no contest.

Infrastructure? Yeah, we've got problems in some areas, but what can you do? We have a sh1t load of infrastructure compared some nations you probably love, which are the size of one of our smaller states. Shut down a major bridge and you've just shut down the city. Its a pickle. Roads and bridges in south FL don't have any problems besides being constantly expanded=) Otherwise, pretty solid. Its not like we've got cobblestone.

I know our first lady wasn't proud to be an American until her husband was sworn in. How's that? And you obviously aren't...

 

No, they are not important-especially overt displays of nationalist fervour. If you can't survive without constant reminders of what country you live in it's a sad state of affairs.
