Under the Constitutional word "Militia," and the Constitutional meaning behind the word, "Militia," anyone able and willing to take up a firearm in defense of this Nation, the free States, to defend Freedom and Liberty, are, indeed, in every sense of the word, a "Militia." Even those serving in Military and Law Enforcement.

What's sad is, you have been taught that anyone that is part of something, a volunteer group or organization, that practice with firearms, train, etc., and are not in the Military or Law Enforcement, are dangerous, threats, terrorists, and extremists.

Some groups should be and need to be watched, I agree.

There are very, very good groups out there, that are Constitutional, though.

In fact, Governor of Arizona, Janet Brewer, wanted to put 300 Militiamen on the Arizona / Mexico Border. It was never meant to be a federal government job, but a job of and for the People.

Militia is what our Founding Fathers had in mind for the preservation of Freedom and Liberty of the free States. It is Constitutional.

Some groups are bad. There are many good ones, though.

In history, Militia served with the Military.

GOD forbid, but should we ever be invaded from an outside, foreign enemy, Militia would be standing and fighting side by side with the Military.

This is why NO country has ever invaded the U.S. As the saying goes, "They would find a gun behind every blade of grass," quite literally.

By the way, we're by NO means racist or prejudice, NONE whatsoever.

Oath Keepers has people from ALL walks of life, ALL colors and races.

Because when your source is a place like infowars.com, it's self-refuting.

Psst: it's not worth refuting anything that comes from World Net Daily or AboveTopSecret, either.

    From your post:

"American" in their language generally means "Real American" (as in non-immigrant), or "White American". And you yourself already mentioned the need to end immigration, hence "Real American". Congratualtions, that is one of the major beliefs of the KKK, so you are already half-way there.(End quote).

    I NEVER said "end immigration."

I'm very much in support of immigration as long as it's NOT illegal. Immigrants that come here need to become a naturalized Citizens.

I'm NOT a white supremist or part of the kkk.

I hate and am against racism as much as you are.

To simply mention the words "American" and "Constitutional" or "Constitution," and be labeled a Militia or terrorist, or placed on a watchlist for saying so, is ludicrous.

That's an attack on Freedom of Speech.

And I don't think I ever used the term, "real American."

I remember hearing that those in the Military used to have to read the Constitution at least once a year.

To believe in the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and Declaration of Independence, is that now wrong?

People like Janet Napolitano, and the Obama regime seem to say and believe so. That such people are "terrorists" and "extremists."

We're NOT at all. We love and support and are proud of our history, heritage, Country, Military, Constitution, and Declaration of Independence. That is American, in every sense of the word.

We don't target anyone or anything, other than those whose ideas are unAmerican, and are against the Constitution. We don't do anything to harm them. We simply share and express information and concern that Liberty and Freedom in this Country are under attack.

    From your above post:

"Apparently you look at these groups, and feel some kinship with them. To me, they are paranoid John Birchers, with guns."(End quote)

    You're misjudging me.

    You don't know me.

Some of the groups, yes, I do feel a common bond and kinship to and with them. Those that are Constitutional. Those who are NOT racist.

And some involved have served in the U.S. Armed Forces and Law Enforcement. There is NOTHING wrong with that. I feel a common ground and kinship with Military and Law Enforcement as well.

We're Americans. We may not agree with and on everything. We may have different FAITHS, but the end goal is the same, the preservation of Freedom, Liberty, and Justice for ALL.

I do have problems with those whose views are of a socialist, fascist, communist, marxist, and globalist nature or ideology. They are the enemy of Freedom, Liberty, and Justice for ALL. Look at history. To say otherwise would be not true and unAmerican.

    I'll "man you up."

And I suppose you're one of those deluted ones and brain dead, unable to think for yourself, because you're hooked on main stream news media that's controlled and biased.

World Net Daily is an excellent news source.

Drudge Report is an excellent news source.

Just because they touch and share information and news that main stream doesn't touch on does NOT mean it's wrong, false, and not happening.

On the contrary, doing the research, the majority of their articles, if not all of them are true.

Main stream news media is controlled.

I bet you think you're the first person to come up with that clever retort.

I have thousands of post on this site. Judge for yourself.

    LOL! Sure.

No. But since they provide no actual evidence other than anonymous claims, or simply misconstruing things, or simply taking things out of context, they have no credibility.

    Bwahahaha! Sure.

I'm sure. But it's way more reliable than the crap conspiracy sites you like.

The key with reading *any* media is to not simply absorb what it says uncritically, nor to be so cripplingly paranoid that you don't trust anything.

Try it. And stop trying to pass of infowars as a credible source.

No doubt you've had thousands retort, "I'll man you up."

Might want to change your signature, then.

World Net Daily, Drudge Report, Reuters, Oath Keepers, are NOT conspiracy theory websites.

The other extreme and danger and stupidity is to be so critical that one completely blows off these web sites as conspiracy web sites, when they're NOT conspiracy websites at all.

"No. But since they provide no actual evidence other than anonymous claims, or simply misconstruing things, or simply taking things out of context, they have no credibility."

On the contrary, testimonies, backed by documented facts and truths, historical facts and truths, trends, interviews, videos...ALL NOT credible?!

    A typical liberal argument.

Oh give me a break. Your OP features a story claiming that an anonymous Guardsman spoke with an Infowars producer.

There is exactly *zero* evidence backing it up. We don't know if the Guardsman is real, much less whether anything he said is true.

Infowars is fond of citing "just in case" planning for a national emergency as evidence the government is planning on declaring martial law and interning citizens.

Hell, they're even making a big deal about park rangers telling target shooters to pick up their brass. Why? Because apparently trying to apply *any* rules to gun owners is a sign of encroaching tyranny.

Infowars is a joke, and anyone who takes them seriously needs their head examined.

Not if we find out about it from infowars. Zero credibility.

And this story has zero credibility. If anything this NG soldier says was true, it wouldn't be one whistleblower; half the unit would be whistle blowers, and someone would have swiped the Powerpoint and given the name and rank of the person giving the briefing.

That certainly is not true, at least it has not been for over 30 years. I doubt most people have read it since High School.

First, if you want an easier way to quote, try this, open with [ quote ] and close with [ /quote ], you can even add quote=Mushroom if you wish. Myself, I do a lot of copy-paste when I make these consolidated responses, makes it a lot easier for others to follow along, without making 8 posts to do so.

However, the continual use of "buzzwords" that are most commonly used by illegal militia movements is something I always find disturbing.

The Drudge Report does not try to pass itself off as a "legitimate news source" most times. It admits it is a "news aggregation" site, which also reports rumors that may be going through the Government and politics.

And when they report something that is not substantiated by outside sources, they openly admit it clearly, so it will not be mistaken as a "fact".

And yea, Oath Keepers is not a "conspiracy theoy website", I will grant you that. It is a collection of conspiracy theorists. One World Order, UN Takeover, etc, etc, etc.

Oh, and those claims that the Arizona Governor wanted to places "Militia" on the borders? Sorry bub, 100% wrong. She was wanting to (and did place) place the National Guard there. The National Guard is not the Militia, although it fulfills that role today. The Guard is a sanctioned legal organization, which answers to the Chain of Command.

Militias were common, but in the US by 1900 it was known that in modern warfare, the old style of militias would be slaughter. So the old concept was brought into a more formal arrangement with the Army, and the National Guard was born.

And if you want to really participate without oversight from the US Army, most states have their own "State Guard" or "State Militia". These are official organizations, that are answerable to the people of the state.

A group that is taking up arms for themselves in their own name without any kind of oversight is not an "Army", it is a "mob". And as far as I am concerned, should be treated as such.

If something like this was spread in my unit, I would not have contacted a hack website like IW, I would have gone straight to CNN, Fox, ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, and every other such group and held a press conference giving all of the details. With video or recorded evidence (cell phones are great things). I would make a great-big gigantic public stink, and then dare the "authorities" to do something to me about it.

This is the one thing that most people do not seem to get. In any conventional military unit, you have from 15-40% of the people that do not want to be there, and are willing to do almost anything to get out short of getting kicked out (and some do not even mind that). I have seen guys purposefully fail drug tests, just to get out. I have seen them lock themselves in rooms so they could get a psych discharge. I even knew one that compulsively brushed his teeth whenever awake, annoying as hell, and he did this whenever he was awake, until he was told he was getting discharged. After leaving the COs office, he stopped doing it, and when asked said his teeth finally felt clean.

So trust me, if this was real, you would have had some people rush forward publically, just to make a stink and get their names in the paper, along with an Honorable Discharge at the end (and possably book and movie deals as well). This is the one thing that I think about whenever I hear about a "Military Conspiracy". It simply does not hold water, because it is absolutely impossible to get everybody in a unit to not only agree to something like this, but to keep it quiet.

And here we are a week later, and nothing has happened. Oh what a shock!

I honestly don't know what to believe anymore, but I know those who paint people who simply have questions, as loons, are propagandists.

Its not what they are saying, but the tactics they use to say it!

"However, the continual use of "buzzwords" that are most commonly used by illegal militia movements is something I always find disturbing."

So Freedom of Speech really is gone. And if we say anything out of sorts, speaking out against the islamofascist dictator(fuherer) in the White House, who is an enemy, we dangerous, terrorists, and criminals.

We're NOT illegal. We're completely within the confines of the U.S. Constitution, but you, and those like you, have been brainwashed and deceived, listening to the crooks and liars in D.C. that have changed the definition of things.

"buzzwords," like what, the Constitution, American, Freedom, Liberty, Justice, etc.,...let me guess, terrorist terminology, right?

Do people even take the Oath anymore, and take it to heart?

I'm interested in what your political affiliation is. Are you liberal? Are you socialist? Are you fascist? Are you globalist?

Because these are threats to the Constitution...(*)(*)(*)(*) it, I said it again(guess I'm a terrorist), Freedom, Liberty, and Justice.

You have your supposed "buzzwords." Just another way to attack Freedom of Speech.

These are things that many of the American People are legitimately concerned about, and rightly so.

Our sovereignty as a Nation is gone.

This thread is a prime example of shill tactics. They want to give you every reason in the world why this isn't worth looking into, but never mention that this is a real person, that is claiming specifics, that just needs to be investigated to verify his claims or not.

I mean these things are really easy to figure out, and anyone who claims you have to be stupid to ask questions based on specific claims, should have to walk around with a asterisk on their forehead so i know who the traitors are!

And it is your fault because you insist on believing in a false left vs. right narrative.

Obama is a Islamofascist, but you believe Romney was a good guy, you are why ideas like liberty and freedom are losing!

I believed romney was a better man than obama for the job, but the end result was a lose, lose situation. One caused the more rapid decline of our Nation, the other a less rapid decline for our Nation.

I voted for neither of the two, because 1., I don't believe in voting for a lesser of two evils, because it's still evil, and 2., our votes don't matter anyway.

    It's just a political game.

Those who are "selected" as POTUS are selected for a particular purpose, agenda, and propaganda.

I do agree with you, though, Pimptight, and I stand corrected, for some of the things and / or attacks I have made on people within this forum.

I greatly apologize, and will try to curb that, yesterday.

    You are exactly right.

    I stand corrected, Sir.

My sincere apologies to the OP, Mushroom, and Ratri, for any insults, threats, name calling, etc.

I meant to only target the said statements, and views.

I didn't believe romney was a good guy. Just that he'd slow down the rapid decline of our Nation, as opposed to the rapid decline of our Nation, presently.

Wow, OK. Then I guess I applaud your your vigilance to constantly re-evaluate your positions based on new arguments. Rare these days indeed.

I do the same thing BTW. I have completely reversed positions openly on a forum before. It is not a weakness, but a declaration of intelligence!

Who says slowing it down is a good thing?

Things are simply an equation in life. In this case the equation is pressure put on people - what they have to lose = revolution.

This is the very premise behind free markets. Cause and effect, supply and demand.

I want things to get worse at a rate that can't be managed, we almost hit it with the GFC. I am not too worried though, as we are about to be given another opportunity when the EU collapses.

I have reversed positions only when I'm reminded that I have gone over the top in a heated discussion, and I make apology where apology is do.

I'm not so proud that I won't apologize if I'm wrong.

There are times I can get carried away and begin attacking the individual rather than their said statements, views, beliefs, ideas, etc.

Easy to do in a heated discussion. I try to reverse and correct the way I present my debates, discussions, and arguments. My beliefs and views remain the same, though.

I agree there is NO room for insults and threats.

    Thank you, Pimptight.

You're a true Friend, and Patriot.

My hat is off to you, Brother.

I posted this in the "Gun Control" section in a Thread I started titled, "U.N. Arms Trade Treaty / Small Arms Treaty Not Dead"

This is NO conspiracy theory. These are the hard FACTS and TRUTHS. Many people don't like to face or deal with the hard FACTS and TRUTHS. They'd rather ignore them, and pretend they don't exist.

TRUTH really is stranger than fiction.

    Happy reading.

This definitely makes it easier to connect all of the dots, from September 1961 to the present, and what we're facing today as a Nation.

Everything has been coming together and is continuing to come together for this purpose.

"Freedom From War - 'The United States Program for General and Complete Disarmament in a Peaceful World'"

    http://dosfan.lib.uic.edu/ERC/arms/freedom_war.html

This was released in September 1961.

They have been establishing and implementing this in increments ever since.

    They're almost finished.

This Arms Trade Treaty / Small Arms Treaty may be the last ditch effort to do this fascist crap.

    http://www.libertygunrights.com/NewVol9_3.pdf

    http://www.state.gov/t/isn/ndf/index.htm

    http://billingsgazette.com/news/opin...569cdd974.html

    http://dosfan.lib.uic.edu/ERC/arms/freedom_war.html

    http://www.infowars.com/un-gun-grab-...partment-plan/

I put Alex Jones Infowars last because many say and blow him and his readers and listeners off as tin foil hat, paranoid, delusional conspiracy theorists.

All of the sudden, he's NOT so crazy after all, is he?! Hhmmm.

Almost everything he's been saying since the 90s, way before I even heard of him, has been happening and occuring within our Nation.

He's done his homework and research and investigations. He's one of the only reporters and journalists that puts his life on the line, to expose the real, hard truths and facts, exposing darkness, corruption, and tyranny.

Some people really just cannot handle the TRUTH.

This is to show how far gone we really are as a Nation.

    FAITH2ACTION
    The new terrorists
Exclusive: Janet Porter has to-do list for Americans the feds are now politically profiling
Published: 04/21/2009 at 12:00 AM by Janet Porter Email | Archive

Janet Porter is president of Faith2Action*: turning people of faith into people of action to WIN the cultural war TOGETHER for life, liberty and the family. Author of "The Criminalization of Christianity," she hosts a daily radio program from 2-3 p.m. Eastern and a daily radio commentary heard in 224 markets and at www.f2a.org. * Title and affiliation for identification purposes only.More ↓Less ↑

While the Department of Homeland Security admits they have “no specific information” of any violent activity or plans of any violence, in a “Rightwing Extremism” report, DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano has labeled law-abiding citizens as “right-wing extremists” and potential “terrorists” anyway, and has instructed state and local law enforcement to monitor, investigate and “report information concerning suspicious or criminal activity to DHS and the FBI.”

Ironically, this is the same “Extremism and Radicalization Branch” of DHS that eradicated all references to the terms “Islamofascist” and “jihadist” (even though that’s the name those who are at war with us, themselves, use). The Obama administration, in replacing “war on terror” with “overseas contingency operations,” for fear of offending Muslims, apparently has no fear of offending Christians and conservatives.

Among the groups being targeted as “terrorists,” according to the report, are “military veterans” who return home (from fighting terrorists), those who “reject federal authority in favor of state or local authority” and “groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue such as opposition to abortion or immigration.”

Are you the Obama administration’s idea of a dangerous subversive? Fight back with the magnetic message: “Why is being Right Extreme?”

Also listed among the targeted potential “terrorists” are those who purchase legal firearms and ammunition and oppose laws that restrict the Second Amendment. Also on the new terrorist watch list are those who believe in “‘end times’ prophecies,” and those with “fear and paranoia” “of an impending economic collapse.” In addition, law enforcement agencies are instructed to monitor and investigate citizens who do not embrace globalism, a “New World Order,” and those concerned about “a world government that would usurp the sovereignty of the United States and its Constitution.”

In fact, the New Terrorists (according to Obama’s Department of Homeland Security) would include the following:

1.George Washington (military veteran and gun owner)
    2.Mother Teresa (pro-life)
3.Ronald Reagan (pro-life and staunch advocate for less government), and
4.The pope (supports life and traditional marriage)
    ‘Most dangerous’

Ignoring the real threats to our security from known Islamic jihad terrorist cells currently training terrorists on American soil, DHS, instead, has declared law-abiding citizens who express their First Amendment Rights as: “the most dangerous domestic terrorism threat in the United States” and has initiated domestic spying on them.

We’ve just seen this trial balloon shot down in Missouri when their Missouri Information Analysis Center issued a very similar “Strategic Report” that targeted those opposed to the United Nations, New World Order, Gun control, a Constitutional Convention, North American Union, the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chip, abortion and illegal immigration as “potentially dangerous.” It also urged law enforcement to be alert to such warning signs as bumper stickers for candidates such as Rep. Ron Paul and Chuck Baldwin.

Even after this report was supposedly retracted, Catherine Bleish, executive director of the Liberty Restoration Project, reported (Faith2Action radio, April 1) cases of law-abiding citizens being followed, stopped and searched without cause or provocation. This is what political profiling looks like.

Meanwhile, a separate assault on our freedoms is being waged in the U.S. House Judiciary Committee with H.R. 1913, the “Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009,” scheduled for a vote tomorrow. We have already seen similar profiling in the “National Hate Crimes Training Curricula” in police training centers at selected colleges and universities that receive grants from the U.S. Department of Justice’s division called COPS, Community Oriented Policing Services.

The suspect groups in these curricula also include Christians whose “ideology is apocalyptic and who believe we are in, or approaching, a period of violence and social turmoil which will precede the Second Coming of Christ” (p.22). If you are a Christian who believes what the Bible has to say about homosexual behavior, you’re a suspect. If you’ve noticed that reading the paper is strikingly similar to reading the book of Revelation, you are also on a police “most wanted list” of potential criminals.

Both the DHS report and “hate crimes” legislation target law-abiding citizens with “politically incorrect” views. We’ve been led to believe it’s about crime, but there are already laws against crime. Rep. (and former judge) Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, pointed out in the House Judiciary Committee the bill “is going to put pastors in prison.” Here’s how: Title 18 of the U.S. Criminal Code, Section 2 (a) reads:

Whoever commits an offense against the United States or aids, abets, counsels, commands, induces or procures its commission, is punishable as a principal.

    – 18 USC Sec. 2

That means if you “counsel someone,” write a book, or read from the Bible (such as what Obama says is an “obscure” passage in the first chapter of Romans), you could be found guilty of “inducing” someone to commit a crime.

The Homosexual Triangle Foundation’s executive director, Jeff Montgomery, told the Saginaw News back in April 2005: “Vocal anti-gay activists should be held accountable as accessories to these crimes because, many times, it is their rhetoric that led the perpetrators to believe their crimes are OK.”

They are targeting our beliefs and our speech. And they don’t want anyone to know about it. As the DHS report states, knowledge of this political profiling could “jeopardize their investigative activities.”

This DHS report states, “No portion of the LES information should be released to the media, the general public, or over non-secure Internet servers. Release of this information could adversely affect or jeopardize investigative activities.” Yet, this report was leaked just before the thousands of tea parties protested the Obama spending programs.

Whether it was an intentional intimidation tactic or an accidental occurrence, one thing’s for sure – we aren’t going to stand by while they profile good, law-abiding citizens as terrorists and take away constitutional freedoms.

Therefore, we, the law-abiding citizens of America, demand:

1.The resignation or removal of DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano for her partisan political profiling of veterans and conservatives and her abuse of power.

2.An apology from President Barack Obama to ALL Americans for his administration’s call for domestic spying.
3.The immediate retraction of the “Rightwing Extremism” report for labeling law-abiding citizens as “terrorists” because of their political views.
If you’d like to help sound the alarm before you’re monitored as a potential terrorist, please help. Go to www.f2a.org and click the first blinking alert to fight “hate crimes” and click the link to www.NoPoliticalProfiling.com to help us place a newspaper ad and sign the petition to fight the new definition of “terrorist.”

The only way we can keep our freedoms is if we’ll use them – now.

Do you now see how good, innocent American Citizens, even U.S. Military Veterans that come home from figting the war on terror, are being criminalized and demonized?

FACTS and TRUTHS are stubborn things. They will NEVER be defeated, and will ALWAYS remain unrefuted.
