Grand Wizard Robert Byrd. Of course........... I'm sure it was just a Freudian slip....... He wasn't really paying homage to the Democrats roots...... was he???
I'm wondering if there might be a "grand wizard" to force Gregory out? Meet the Press has never been the same since the partisan fool took over for Tim Russert.
Perhaps, the Republicans could use a Black Panther to force Cain out. I wonder if Gregory's pals in the Democratic Party would mind loaning Bobby Rush to the GOP?
Ah, the ever present racial overtones....hardly unexpected coming from one attached at the hip to a political party that institutionalized racial favoritism.
It has been pretty bad since Russert died. Russert was a very partisan liberal Democrat without a doubt. However, you could never tell from watching Meet the Press. Russert was a consumnate professional, and did the job, which is to ask tough questions of them all.
I absolutely agree. I don't care for the fool, but I would hate to see him lose his job over this. We already have enough of that hyper-sensitive progressive political correctness going on. I would still like a more credible host of Meet the Press however. Gregory just isn't filling Russerts shoes..................
LOL Your credibility would profit substantially if you were to consider cracking open a history book........... Your failure to see how the comment is unwise in particular it's use context wise isn't helping. Regardless, Gregory has come out issuing shame faced mea culpa's......over the Freudian slip. This should put the matter to rest.
Liberals are really big on pointing the finger and shouting racist in hopes of diverting attention away from the fact that they are the only racist people in the room. It says a lot about how they view the world when they constantly make references to a racist hate group that is barely even around anymore. They are obsessed with race. They don't see people as individuals but only as colors. MLK's message went right over their heads.
David Gregory: No "Grand Wizard" In GOP To Force Cain Out David Gregory, NBC News: "Well there is no, you know, Grand Wizard in the party right now who can really force the issue. I've talked to Cain's advisers in Iowa, they think their support is still strong there, that it's not falling. There may be cracks in the foundation according to pollsters I'm talking to, that his numbers may be starting to shift but right now core support remains there." http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2011/11/09/david_gregory_no_grand_wizard_in_gop_right_now_to_ force_cain_to_go_away.html Never get in the way of a liberal journalist committing seppuku on TV. _
If Gregory was 25 YO or a fan of WWE then he might have some excuse. But he's an old leftwad and he's heard 'Grand Wizard' in reference to the KKK about 10,000 times. He's a liar. And a racist.
"...I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal..." "...I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character..." Guilt laced, apologetic, Democrat inspired and institutionalized racial preference policies can in no way, try as they may, be construed as having anything to do with supporting or promoting these MLK sentiments. That these race hustlers and victim pimps have co-opted him as one of their own... is the pinnacle of intellectual dishonesty and revisionist history.
