    Actually if you read the full article you'll find that illegal Immigration has been going down since the first years of the Bush Presidency when it spiked. And it's because of an improvement in the Mexican economy.

    So readers are expected to take the word of a far left operation (Pew) citing data supplied by the Mexican Government, which seeks to claim there are fewer Mexican Nationals here, than there was before.

    And we're expected to overlook that both Pew, and the Mexican Government, know it is politically expedient to downplay the issue, which would be the motivation of the report.

    At the same time, over 2.5 million illegal aliens were apprehended at the border over the last 5 years. Assuming that for every illegal caught 1-2 make it through successfully, that means at least 2 million illegals have entered the US. But we are asked to assume almost none of them are Mexican Nationals.

    Perhaps Pew and the Mexican government know there are many who are gullible enough to buy their stories, but they should rethink how the majority will view their attempts.

    I've studied the facts in great detail.

    I assume you haven't, since all you are doing is basing your story on the word of a liberal organization, and the Mexican government, both of which have an agenda.

    2 million plus have entered the country through the Southwest border. And few are from Mexico. Really?

    So how does a corrupt government, dealing with peasants across large swaths of almost ungoverned land, conduct an accurate census?

    Love to hear you explain that.

    It didn't help. Did you read the article from the far left operation you linked to? Robert Strauss Center? Gee, no bias or agenda out of that operation.

    Regardless, according to recently graduated 20 something who authored your article, 50% of the people crossing the border are apparently from Mexico.

    "The face of migration has also changed. Back in 2000, Mexican nationals made up 98 percent of the total migrants and Central Americans (referring to Honduran, Guatemalan, and Salvadoran migrants) only one percent. Today, Central Americans make up closer to 50 percent."

    So how does that stack up against what the other poster was claiming via the equally biased Pew organization? Pew claims there is a net loss of Mexicans.

    Facts, to liberal/progressives, are whatever the article that suits them state they are.

    Not much of a basis for facts....

    Two things, Obama couldn't deport record numbers of illegals if they weren't coming here illegally, or Obama is a racist hater of brown people which is why he built so many child detention centers. Either way, you lose.

    All the hard data shows he's a liar vilifying these few desperate people to band together the paranoid, the bigoted and racist, and the willfully ignorant.
