It's the externalities, Baby! There is literally no way for America to light up without negative effects hitting those that don't hit it.

It's false to think your level of responsibility pervades society.

If people want something to be legal then they should stop convicting people for doing the thing they want to be legal. If you want weed to be legal then don't convict someone for using it.

I lived there for a year; the wife and I didn't realize how much we didn't like the place until after we
It's not just getting stoned in one's own home. Let's look at the left's stance on guns; first they outlawed bazookas and flame throwers, then machine guns, and then on and on and they'll keep pounding away until they reach their ultimate goal of banning all of them. The left will do the same thing with drugs, legalize a little pot, then a little of this, a little of that, and before you know it - BANG - they finally attained their goal of legalizing everything. Of course, when the country is full of dying drug addicts the left will say someone has to come up with the money to fix this and more than likely the people coughing up that money don't do drugs yet they'll be paying the costs.

I live in WA where recreational marijuana has been legal for a few years. I havnt noticed any changes, except for some comical 'legal weed' signs along the road. I dont partake so I think im in a good position to see changes without bias... but there just arent any. Things go on as they were before, just with people not worried about getting caught with the plant in their pocket.

Weed doesn't make them violent. Perhaps you think we should outlaw all guns too. That would help with the violence.

    My fellow Trump supporters:

There is no way justify keeping marijuana illegal when alcohol is legal.

Nevada may be cutting their own throat. It could backfire making it's citizens too lazy to gamble.

    In California.........

That's just the beginning of the regulations and taxes. Sooner or later they will get around to regulating the potency like the proof of alcohol. As the taxes go up the allowable amount of home grown will decrease so they state gets more taxes. As people try to get around the taxes buy cultivating, the penalties will go up from misdemeanors to felonies. When the Government smells revenue........ Everything they've done to cigarettes will eventually apply to weed. You'll be paying $15 bucks (or more) for a pack of commercially grown watered down weed cigarettes you can only get from retailers.
