Like I said........the Patriots should have played to beat those last two teams and secure home field advantage.........

Alas, it is the end of the road for the Patriots. [IMG] Denver is Going to the Superbowl.

Where my son has assured me that Carolina will win. He wanted it to be the Patriots as assured me that Carolina was going to stuff them too.

Too many bad calls....too many Patriots offensive linemen out.

But that missed extra point? WTF!!!

Best kicker in the NFL and he misses an extra point??

Lot of non-calls especially the one where 3 Broncos were holding Gronk down by his belt in the end zone!!!

But that too fast blown whistle on that Denver fumble...WTF???

He did look old.....they almost blew it. Its looking like it will be Denver and Carolina. I don't think Denver will be able to pull it out. Not if the Panthers play like they are today.

Something was wrong with the Pat's Broncos game.

I have NEVER seen so many non-calls against Patriots receivers like that ever!!

Manning was getting MAULED by the Pat's defense and we would get close to the Red Zone and there would be a Bronco all over a Patriots receiver and no call.

I usually NEVER use the Ref's as an excuse but this game....it was BLATANT.

Gronk had 3 Broncos LITERALLY holding him down by his belt and uniform in the end zone and the ref was right there and no call!!

I am sick just watching the replays!!

And I would definitely bet Carolina because the Bronco's will NEVER beat them!

The play with Gronkowski in the end zone was not even close to a pass interference. Brady threw a Hail Mary into triple coverage while being forced to throw off balance by the Denver rush. The three defenders had just as much right to go for the ball as Gronk. You must be seeing that play with your heart rather than your eyes. Your guys battled valiantly throughout the game but the Bronco pass rush was overwhelming. Ware and Miller were in Tom's face all day. Brady played his ass off all day but he had no room to operate. The better team won in my opinion. The fact that the Patriots were a 2 point conversion away from taking it into overtime is proof if the extreme professionalism and excellence of Brady and his mates. You can't hang this one on the refs. The guts calling that game were the best in the business. There's always next year and knowing Belichick, Brady and Gronkowski they will be right back in the thick if it. Cheers

Patriots fans keeping it classy with death threats against the kicker who missed the PAT.

    http://dailysnark.com/patriots-fans...tkowski-twitter-postgame-missing-extra-point/

Thank you Denver for sparing us another Belichick/Brady Super Bowl.

A non-existent O-line for New England, Brady took 20 hits and gave up 2 picks...shows to go he's just an average QB without protection.

Going for it on 4th and 1 against the #1 defense in the NFL? Field goal range, you have all 3 of your timeouts left and Denver's offense was sputtering.

The kicker didn't cost them the game, bad coaching did.

I think the Pats lost on purpose. It's the 50th Super Bowl.
Who wants to go to L?

All I know it that we won't have to hear about how (*)(*)(*)(*)ing terrific Tom Brady is until the fall. ESPN will have to find someone else to fawn over.

Sorry Alpha, to be honest I was surprised they lost and thought for sure Brady was gonna get the title shots of title shots. I actually ranked them second to win the AFC . I picked STeelers to go all the way, but inuries wrecked them. For the NFC I had Green Bay and then the Cardinals. Green Bay was looking great but injuries wrecked them too. AND THEN CAME CAROLINA lol, (*)(*)(*)(*) they came out of nowhere and wrecked everything.

I dont see Peyton surviving this SB. Hell even if the Patriots went I do not see how they would stop the Panthers on either side of the ball.

Man thats screwed up. Actually talked to him quite a bit one semester at Univ. of Memphis back in 2003, this was before he was a starter and he actually had a scholarship for baseball first.

But (*)(*)(*)(*) man, he went damn near his whole career and only missed 2 field goals? For (*)(*)(*)(*)s sake he is human. And why blame the game on him when they had a chance to tie it 2 times and instead went for the first down. It's like blaming Russel Wilson for the choice to throw the ball when the coach is the one who made the call. Screw that, the Patriots made much bigger mistakes than Stephen by far. They are just too chicken(*)(*)(*)(*) to go after their coach for his idiotic decision making.

The offensive line injuries did the Pats in. With a healthy offensive line, the Pats would have won by 21.

There was one guy on twitter, I'd have to find the screenshot of the tweet, saying he hoped that the kicker and his wife both get raped and that the kicker had to watch. He made another tweet about hoping the kicker's kids die from cancer. Liberal use of the f-bomb and Pu--y.

    super classy guy, for sure

    Panthers look real good!!!

Broncos will not just be beat....they will be embarrassed!!!

Brady's O -Line was hurt and we were playing 3rd and 4rth string guy's.

    Texas is right.

    The Broncos offense was awful.

The difference in the game was the Pat's O-Line.

Denver had no business winning that game.

    Panthers look great.

The Pat's just did not have an O-Line to protect Brady.

If we did....we would have been in the Super Bowl because let's face it...Denver is going to be bashed.

    That's unusual.

I travel all over to see games and the worst fans I have run into were in Pittsburgh....Philly too.

Pat's fan's have a LOT to be thankful for.

    12 AFC Championship Games.

8 Times to the Super Bowl.

    4 Super Bowl wins!!!

How many teams can say that?

    None.

    But the Pats.

Gronk's belt was being held by Talib.

Your going to tell me a 6 foot 6 Gronk can't out jump a 5 foot 9 and two 5 foot 10 Defensive Backs???

    It was HOLDING!!

Maybe you should talk to the people that keep track of the win lose book and get it changed. Wait that is not how it works a win is a win. And Brady the cheater heads home losing.
