New Jersey councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour shot and killed, authorities say

How tragic! I hope it wasn't politically motivated. But there's the current political climate:

 

She might be alive if she had been armed.

 

Not enough information to go on. From what I gathered, she was involved in her community long before she became a councilwoman. That being said, from the reports, she was shot mulitple times near her home. She drove to her home in that short distance and succumb to her injuries.

If she was married, I would start with the Husband first, then look at her personal life at any boyfriends, affairs, and other relationships and see what sticks out. But anything is possible.

 

She was shot while driving. That gives two options: First, the passenger in her car shot her, or someone who saw her while driving shot her. Kinda hard to be armed while driving to protect yourself.

Her chances would have been better, had she been armed.

 

If the teachers had been armed, yes.

Are you comparing the self defense capability of a 30 year old adult to grade schoolers?

If she was speaking to the shooter, did she know them? Doesn't sound like a random shooting.
The first one I'd look at is her eleven year old daughter's father. By all accounts, it sounds like she was a very accomplished, well-liked woman.

LOL, not really. According to this link, she was found dead in her car, which crashed at Samuel Circle,. This is near where she lived. So, the police are not releasing any details of exactly how she died. And that means either a passenger or someone walked up to her. Even being armed, in a sitting position, with seat belt fastened around you, it is difficult to pull out that pistola and defend yourself.

She may have been on her phone, which would mean she was not aware of her surroundings, But who knows? And she made a message on her Linkedin account that says, "Hi everyone - I am looking for a new role and would appreciate your support. Thank you in advance for any connections, advice, or opportunities you can offer." She was an IT business professional and was the director of churches, since 2016, for Champions Royal Assembly, a Nigerian Christian Church organization headed by Joshua Iginla. Not saying anything, but she was a mother, which means either a husband, boyfriend, ex-boyfriend, jealous girlfriend, etc. It appears to be targeted, but mulitiple times at the target suggest this may be personal.

the police did say it was targeted. So, suspects may be ex boyfriend, husband, father of her kid or kids, business associate, etc.

 

LOL, we are not riding or driving a BTR 80 here or a M2 Bradley or the Stryker vehicle. The likihood of doing this in real life is remote at best.

 

A woman who is pastor at her church said she was shot 7 times and in the face. Sounds very targeted.

Arming kids is fail. Their teachers should be allowed to defend them tho.
