It ain't the workers that screwed up...it was the engineer

How many million and they screwed it up?

Who hired that contractor? Who got the kickback...

They are going to use the same guys in the picture to carry Trump out of the Whitehouse next January because they have experience draining the swamp.

I will admit Melania's choice in design was questionable...

And it's a shame to see so much money being wasted on a project that wasn't even all that stellar.

I mean, if they wanted to spend millions of dollars to update the rose garden, it better be the most fantastic rose garden ever with a great and ground-breaking design.

But the "after" in this case wasn't really any better than the "before".

    ~ Just think ...
:blushes: ➡ If First Lady Melania had not redesigned the garden nobody would know about the danger lurking there. She may have saved a life ! Another hero ...

Laughing at you isn't being triggered.... it's just fun

    SNIP
The sinkhole could be a result of an old water line that has rusted through and caused water to leak into the White House Lawn. This could act to carve out underground voids, eventually causing the overlying ground to sink under its own weight.

Allowing the first lady to fix up the rose garden that had some drainage problems. What gall! Seems like another impeachable offense to add to the pile.

It was a project that got rushed and taken over by Donnie because he couldn't hold the big rallies he wanted to for the convention. It wound up mutilating the garden and WH lawn.

Obviously you have very little experience in the construction field...100K for this? That's not even close to covering labor alone....then materials? geez

and it's not uncommon at all to have to come back after a job is done and do some touch ups...in particular with drainage.

Oh lesh you're always amazing, you're now an engineer, a scientist, a Dr in political science, etc.. You literally tell us exactly what's going on when no one else could possibly know. It's amazing.

The Rose Garden is 125' x 60'. Most of that is lawn. It was a rush job because Donnie wanted to abuse his office one more time.

Do you not understand how these jobs are awarded and the process to award? There isn't a way to rush anything when dealing with Government jobs, if you understood the process you wouldn't make these claims.

Ok, so his abuse of office results in a retro work on a project that involved no taxpayer funds.

On the other hand, Democratic abuse of office results in:

I think I will vote for the retro work. Enjoy your burned, looted and gutted neighborhoods/businesses, you voted for them.

Do you know that this did not follow government contracting laws because it was done privately?

The abuse of office is in using the WH as a backdrop for his convention speech.

And it was 3 weeks, not 3 months.
