We see on these boards frequent expositions explaining why the reactionary right think they have the correct world view, now, for those with some patience you can read up on the current worldview of much of the radical left. Chris Hedges gave a speech last year that spells out how much of the left sees the world today, and what is likely to happen over the next decade or two. here is a transcript of that speech. http://www.truthdig.com/report/page...nscript_collapse_of_complex_societies_2014012 Here are some snippits. definitely worth a read.
His views on quantitative easing and exploitation isn't just leftist pander. People on the right also recognize this. However, the number is far fewer. The difference between the two is how to solve the impending financial collapse. However, the financial collapse is still going to be weathered okay. Even another 'extreme leftist' (according to Fox News watching peeps), Noam Chomsky disagrees with the level of worry that Chris Hedges has in terms of this. On another thread, there was talk of adapt or fail in the capitalist system. However, I think the 'adaptation' we will seek is altering the system itself, not the individuals participating in the failed system, restructuring society to be more efficient at sustaining itself and forming into a construct that best lives in harmonics with the planet and each other. The predator with no natural enemies and infinite choices of diet will ultimately eat itself out of home and starve to death.
