The NFL protests fueled by movements like 'Black Lives Matter' (BLM) are mutating from one of 'taking a knee' to having all the players, coaches, and as many fans as they can get to participate, to stand with arms linked, looking like a police line at a street riot.

The Thursday Night football game displayed the latest version of the BLM-choreographed rebellion of NFL players against symbols of the United States of America: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...rodgers-wants-fans-to-link-arms-during-anthem

It's just another form of making a spectacle in opposition to the flag of the United States, and our National Anthem -- that these players would make a strong-armed phalanx instead of doing what American citizens have done for decades -- stand peacefully with one hand over the heart. Why the 'militant' display of linking arms, as though they're going to march into some kind of street brawl?

This 'arms-linked' guerrilla-theater ploy is the same kind of deceitful propaganda as "Hands up, don't shoot!". This latest addition to the menu of disrespect for our flag, and our National Anthem changes NOTHING for me -- the NFL can go f*ck itself until all these BLM sympathizers and their handlers are GONE.

[IMG]. This charade changes NOTHING.... It's still nothing but BLM 'theater'.

This is nothing more than the NFL finally waking up to the fact that they stepped in it big time! They are looking for some way to "fix" things without having to admit that they screwed up royally!

Scans of the fans during the anthem showed very few linking arms. But it showed lots of them waving flags, putting their hands over their heart, and saluting.

Fans simply don't spend hundreds of dollars to go see their team indulge in a political protest over what has been proven to be a lie from the very start.

I simply did not tune in to last nights game. I won't watch any games on Sunday. There *will* be a lot of people that do the same. The NFL has shot itself in the foot and seem to be unable to bandage the wound to stop the bleeding.

Good, they quit bastardizing Kaep's protest by making it about Trump

Very good post! The NFL has shot itself in the foot -- both feet, actually. Now, they need to "shoot" some radical morons on the teams' rosters, and maybe a few coaches, too. Then, maybe, we can just go back to complaints we have about WAY too many commercials, promos, and other 'breaks', delays, and disruptions....

But it's clear now that we must (MUST) get partisan politics and political "theater" out of all sports held on public venues -- and do it NOW!
