Wow, this happened fast. Now let's see how fast things change, and if they do then that makes the liberal NFL the biggest hypocrites extant. If they don,t then that makes them bad businessmen. Now we'll find out if this is about social justice or money.

What did I spew, that the league will make or won't make changes in order to get revenues back where they were? You don't believe the league will do something to keep the cash flowing?

The ratings drop has nothing to do with the anthem.

And yes, I am confident that the NFL will not tell the players that they can not protest.

Title of OP "NFL ratings dip forces TV networks to repay advertisers The NFL’s television ratings decline "From the link "The makegoods that networks must hand to advertisers come in the form of free airtime—they repay their obligation by giving the advertisers ad space in a different slot. SMI, which tracks more than 70 percent of all national TV ad spending, found that NBC and CBS gave away 20% of inventory as ADUs in November 2016, compared to just 5.2% and 11%, respectively, a year earlier." Comprehension problems?

I predict it won't go on throughout the entire year, either the players will be encouraged to be patriotic and respectful or they will be told to. It's all about the dollars.

Nowhere in that link does it state the ratings drop has anything to do with players kneeling.

nope because they did so before the Anthem then all stood for it not showing any disrespect for the Flag
Like we have been trying to inform you it has nothing to do with them protesting or the reason for the protest it is the time they chose to do it in

The kneeling began long before this weekend. It began last year, when the ratings began to decline.

    From your link:

Rule 12, Section 3, Article 1 (d) of the NFL rulebook, which states that “players are prohibited from engaging in any celebrations or demonstrations while on the ground”

He was penalized for sliding accross the field on his knees. He wouldn't get fined today because the NFL changed the celebration rules during th offseason.

I do find it funny though that you bring an example of a Muslim Man praying but didn't mention that a Christian Man, Tim Tebow NEVER got flagged or fined for taking a knee when he played.

So why do you think he took a knee before the anthem? To look cool? Me thinks he supports the players protest.

You go on believing that the NFL is worried about it's ratings. The league will still be the biggest professional sports league in the USA long after you and I leave this Earth.

I don't know or care if they're worried about the ratings. The NFL is a joke:

    1) They railroaded and lied about Tom Brady.
    2) They allowed Kaepernick to wear images of cops as pigs on his uniform, but they denied other players to wear "9/11".
    3) They have a rule that the players must stand for the national anthem, but they don't enforce it.

    1) Tom Brady & the Patriots cheated. They were caught cheating in the past when they used to record other teams signal calls.
    2) Kaepernik was not allowed to wear those socks during the game. EVERY player can wear what they want during warm ups, but then have to be in proper uniform during the game.
    3) There is NO rule in the NFL rule book stating that players have to stand during the Anthem.

Before 2009, players all stayed in the locker room during the anthem. Where was your outrage back then?

What I want to know is when did we ever think these players, let alone the NFL, was doing this out of disrespect? Do the players turn their backs? No. We are turning a big nothing into something.
