I think the greatest danger, given that communism has made no inroads, is oligarchy. Power being held by the elites and the gov't that they own. So, not to worry. The greatest threat to capitalism will come when we only need 20 percent of our People to provide needed goods and services being one by robots and AI. And we are moving there, but not there quite yet. That is when communism, socialism, the real deal kind, becomes attractive and an option, when enough people are suffering like hell from no income, or insufficient income. If you want to worry about something, outside of oligarchy, worry about that, for it is coming.

Well, I am not a partisan, at least not much of one. I always tried to look longer term, and at the Big Picture. But I am an Independent too, after leaving the democratic party under clinton, for well known reasons. On issues that concern me, I see little difference between the two parties. Clinton helped to change that, and give us one party with two heads. My opinion.

I don't buy into these fears of socialism, communism, while understanding that this may indeed be a big issue in our future. But not today, nor yesterday. We have privatised much of what was once the public sector. Hardly moving into real deal socialism or communism. We have moved into oligarchy though, but the degree is debatable. But not the move. That much is clear and obvious. Our gov't is conducted mostly in the self interests of a few elites, as evidenced by congressional record, spanning two decades, and used by princeton in the princeton study. Most people either know nothing of it, or ignore it. For partisan reasons, perhaps. So it has no relevance in the reality that they create, from partisanship.

Then when considering the dems have set up sanc cities all across the nation to put these people in, and they admittedly have been giving them ID's to vote, for all intents and purposes their takeover of the US could happen within this election if they win the house and we don't get real immigration reform.

Then once back in office and control, they'll make sure to rig elections going forward so they never lose office again. Given the fact they are admittedly advocating removing the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 12th, and 14th amendments and pushing for socialism, the takeover will be nearly seamless and blindside everyone. The U.S. should have been the international revolutionary center at its birth. Patrick Henry could have been our Trotsky. We could have liberated enormous swaths of our planet well before so much catastrophe ensued. The would certainly never have been a totalitarian U.S.S.R. No WWI (so, no WWII).
