I keep on seeing the UK media banging on about Labour anti-semitism.....but I've never seen any examples of it. Sure individuals may be anti-semites...but that doesn't make Labour institutionally anti-semitic...just an organisation with a cross-section of opinions...so what has Corbyn apologise for ? .
That Andrew Neil interview was disgusting but then I know his position on Corbyn and Labour from watching This Week a few times. At one time he said just as it was 'I'll ask the questions' and then he kept interrupting him and not allowing him to answer because he did not say what Neil wanted. He allowed Corbyn no space to give his answers. It was just an attack interview to allow Neil to cast his judgement. You know as well as I do that they are as the Jewish lady said on Channel 4 using the wrong word. It is not anti semitism but to her it was antizionism which she said was her position too and when asked about said no did not mean she was against there being an Israel, simply against the way the current Israel was acting. Research suggests that Labour under Corbyn far from becoming more antisemetic has become less antisemetic. What has changed is not Institutional racism in the Labour Party but the Corporate Media's continued smearing of Labour which according to an LSE study given that so much is lies or misrepresentation against the leader of the opposition is an attack on democracy. What is interesting is that even Jews seem timid about saying the situation as it is - I am meaning Jews who agree with Corbyn's position on Israel - possibly because of concern as the lady I mentioned on Channel 4 said (anyway I think it was her) that this could itself result in a genuine rise in antisemitism. Was listening a few weeks ago to Bercow speaking to Campbell and given he is a Jew asked about this. He said he has known Corbyn for 2 decades and has never experienced any antisemitism from him and does not believe he is antsemetic and also said he had never experienced antisemitism from the labour Pary while also going on about how there is a problem, which as I said everyone seems obliged to say, but not saying what it was. He did mention some antisemitism he had experienced from another Party. It might also be worth mentioning that I read yesterday Johnson saying he was going to make BDS illegal among councils. May tried this telling them it was so but English courts ruled that as we are a democracy people have the right of political freedom and so this was not illegal but a free political choice.
