Hey all. I'm a midwestern white guy, with liberal leanings. I play guitar and accordion, and enjoy a few hours of video gaming and trash posting in the evenings. I'm a refugee of the Great Dan Carlin Forum Closing of 2016, looking for a new place to battle the forces of Stupid. A few of the more Liberal amongst us are checking PF out as our previous spiritual home has become a bit of an echo chamber recently. I'm sure none of us are quite ready to cut the chord yet but the welcome here has been generous so far......

I say that Trump is looking for anything to give the appearance of Making Trade Great Again, and someone happened to tweet the issue at him at the right time. Tariffs are completely self-defeating, and accomplish nothing for either side. That said, I don't trust those godless Canadians. Keep a steely eye on them, at all times.
