You are confusing contrived "vulnerability" with excuse-motivation . We are beginning to see a lot of this in feminist indignation. "Yes, it's true your honour, he only looked at me when I shot him but it felt as though I was being raped!"

It's not a personal insult. Ignorance is seldom one's own fault. It is you who is using "The Chosen People" as part of your argument. It is up to you if you want to continue using it incorrectly. I could have said using it merely defeated your point and destroyed your credibility but I chose to give you an opportunity of correcting it. That's no "personal insult". I am interested to know whether you've put as much effort in finding out its meaning as you have in deflecting your misuse of it. Have you?

According to the Bible, Israel is the Promise Land pledged to Abraham and his seed. All Christians are heirs to that Promise: Galatians 3:28, 29. Therefore, it is supposed to be diversified.

    Levantine history is fascinating.
The Levant has been a tumultuous home for countless civilizations that even pre-date the Hebrew invasion.
Sadly, archeologists since the 1700s have gone to the Levant with a Bible in one hand and a shovel in the other in order to validate the OT as historically accurate . Like many pseudo archeologists of today, like Randall Price, they are quick to discard any evidence of other civilizations that predate the Hebrews and do so with the blessing of the Israeli government.

Yes, just as diverse cultures have lived in what is now Israel - Palestine since the beginning of time so should they continue to today.

"THE BIBLICAL PSEUDO-ARCHEOLOGISTS PILLAGING THE WEST BANK"
    https://www.theatlantic.com/interna...archeologists-pillaging-the-west-bank/273488/
EXCERPT "Finding the elusive, unregulated Israeli bureaucrat who lets American evangelicals run amok in the Palestinian territories.

The discovery of the scrolls 50 years ago galvanized a resurgent evangelical movement, many of whose members heralded the creation of Israel as evidence of the coming rapture. Since then, the Holy Land has attracted a long succession of academic zealots seeking to tether stories in the Bible to the archaeological record.

For Randall Price, a mid-50's, sun-reddened pastor from Texas with a neat side part and a booming voice, archaeology is both a scientific and a devotional endeavor. "This was the area where great men of God were tested," he said. "When you're excavating there it puts you in touch, physically, with the reality of those events." Price has spent the last ten years searching for remains of an ascetic Jewish priesthood whom he believes settled in the desert wilderness of Qumran to await the coming of the Messiah and the End of Days. These remains, he said, could provide unprecedented evidence of a biblical text."CONTINUED

How very civil of you. Now why don't you try posting something relevant instead of indulging your linguistic ego? Semantics are so tiring...

It is not my job to educate anyone "against my will". If I think you are not being earnest the best I will do is point you in the right direction and give you a shove. I've done that. If you are bent on resisting that's your business. I don't care very much. Isn't that clear?

    That's my question to you.

The title of this thread, started by ForumPoster is, "Non-Jews should not be allowed to live in Israel - Israel's Chief Rabbi".

As motivation to your opinion on the subject, you have introduced a sub-thread involving "The Chosen People". Unfortunately for you, you have misunderstood the meaning of it so that it doesn't strengthen your opinion at all.

You've lost sight of both the main subject and the sub-subject (that you yourself have introduced) and your latest responses are resembling more of a personal nature than anything to do with the thread/subject. My question on your last 2 replies is, And they are relevant because...?
