If someone bashed in your door at night, what would you do? Would you wait with your hands up until they identify themselves as cops? I mean, that's funny, because when I argued with right wingers about castle laws and stand your ground laws, I made the point that by retreating you ensure the people coming in aren't the cops. I was told they wouldn't bet their lives on it. So why should black people bet their lives on it? If someone bashes in a black person's door, they DON"T have the right to defend themselves? Rather, they need to retreat or identify the person BEFORE they shoot? Just making sure I have this right...oh and before you cry race to avoid answering any of the hard questions, note that this was already about race before I posted so you can swallow that one right off the bat.

Also, the dude blind fired through her patio door at the blinds that covered it. That behavior alone should mean he never gets another job as a police officer and has his rights to own a firearm stripped. I mean, how responsible is that?

 

Randy Weaver resisted arrest. So is that what killed his wife and son in his Idaho cabin? You have to agree. David Koresh resisted arrest. Therefore, that's what killed all those in Waco, right? They got what they deserved, didn't they.

 

Assault is different from the current first degree murder charge.

 

Yes. The current charge is based on the fact that a felony assault caused Floyd's death.

 

As to your "real question," I think it's already been conclusively reported that the autopsy showed he had drugs in his system. That's not the "real question." It's what degree (if any) that contributed to his death? I don't know. Do you?

As for you just let'em go if they resist theory, I've been hearing that a lot since George Floyd's death. Apparently every woke person knows that if someone resists arrest, you should let them go so as to not take chances injuring the suspect. I don't believe that's a common police department policy. Was that the Minneapolis police policy and Chauvin just violated it? I've not heard that.

White deaths by law enforcement outnumber Black deaths outright under any circumstance but <warning narrative obliteration incoming> White deaths by law enforcement ALSO outnumber Black deaths under instances of accidental or unjustified shootings, both in count and in proportionality.
